Sheba, good to hear your sister is doing well. I can’t imagine talking to anyone on the phone every day. Texting maybe. 🙂 Your niece sounds like a nice caring person. HUbs found his 4th of July Ice Cream. See sometimes I’m nice and buy it.

Sheba, Wishing you and yours a Happy 4th of July!
We don’t have plans, and will just hang out here.
Hope your Sister is doing well.
The flowers look so pretty. Reminds me to go water some of mine that are outside. -
Sheba, Happy Monday! Lovely flower fashion! If you spring for those turquoise earrings let me know how you like them. I keep looking at them….
The funny thing about the muffins is hubs keeps thinking i’m adding blueberries but it’s dried cranberries from a nut mix bag. No one was eating them so I had quite a few for the batches. I don’t even bother to correct him….
Sweet of you to offer to hear about my Mother. She is probably the one who lived the longest on her whole side of the family ever.
I am surprised Heidi Daus isn’t on nearly as much as she used to be. She has a unique place in the market with all the sparkle plus so many people love her here. -
Sheba, these are so pretty. I really like them. Anyone ordering?

Sheba, glad you enjoyed Chinatown. It so nice to look at the fashion and manners of an era gone by for sure. Sounds like that was a short trip for your neighbors. The roses sound very pretty.
Your dinner sounds good. Hubs still likes the muffins, you know the ones with no sugar, no oil and almond flour. He tells me not to change the recipe and finally after 30 years I made some good muffins. Husbands… Um ok. 🙂 -
Oodie, I am an East Coaster but from Western MA. We lived in RI about 1 1/2 years and then my parents moved to the Mid-West. I left the Mid West as soon as I could, which was after graduating College as it wasn’t for me at all. My sibling seemed to like the Mid West but was younger.
On our trip, we avoided toll roads and the drive was really enjoyable. When we lived in RI my Mother liked to go to the dinner theater in Providence (I think) and we saw a lot of great plays.
Hope you and hubs get back to your MA homes at some point soon. You might even be able to get a road transport for your hubs.
By the way, as Sheba mentioned a hat and sunglasses are helpful as well. You probably already know this. I worked both in the car on the Vacation.
Good evening! -
Oodie, wanted to mention to maybe get some electrolyte powders to add to water or gaterade type of drinks. Take care. Hello to Mr Oodie.

Sheba, Watching Jaws is so fun. I was just a kid living in RI and in the Ocean often, when this movie came out. I love looking at some of the fashion like kerchief ties in the hair or hanging off handbag, cut off shorts, and people in general. Oh, and the blazer with the anchors – great! And people looking in actual Books for information.
Hope your sister continues to feel better.
Your mentioned taking care of your neighbors kittens a ways back, and its so hard to travel and have pets. Someone I know with 2 dogs spent over $1500 to board them for her vacation. She says they are a pain but she loves them 🙂 -
Sheba, nice you and your neighbors have such good relationships. We have close houses here and almost always keep the shudder closed on that side. Someone across the Street used to tell me how she heard the neighbor behind her house popping popcorn. We never hear much except the neighbors barking dog. The weather has been good so your neighbor will be happy on that front.
I’m watching Jaw2 tonight. Have a good evening.

Sharon818, thanks for the information. That was helpful. I passed on the purchase.

Sheba, how is your sister doing. I read ahead to Shoelady’s post that she left the hospital already. That’s a good sign. 3 hours sitting and waiting in a plane is up there with my fears. I have told my husband that I will exit any plane that is delayed given the opportunity. Glad she hung in there and made it to Co safely.
How long is your neighbor on vac for?
Have a good evening. -
Sheba, Very happy for your sisters successful surgery. Was your niece actually stuck on the plane for those 3 hours? Hopefully not.
The Harper Lee post is interesting. I might add to it that we are our experiences so we need to keep expanding them.
Very excited about your neighbor heading to Poland tomorrow. It’s a great place with a lot to see. You’ll have to fill me in when she returns. We hope to go back. Poland had two highlights for me of many.
My volunteer project is done and hubs took it back for me. Not doing that one again. -
Sheba, hello and no worries. Hope your sister is out of surgery by now and resting comfortably.
Let us know how she is doing when you can. -
Sheba, nice sandels. I like the green!

Sheba, sorry to read your sister has a big surgery tomorrow. I’ll be thinking of you and your family.
