Glad you survived the “Invasion of the Cat Snatchers” last night.😲 I often wondered how you did not attract the raccoons.🐼 I think I told you my husband has trapped a number of them and I don’t even put any food out. Oh my, I will think of you and Bette Davis every time I see a coon, lol! Mrs. Doolittle to the rescue!👉

Busy day with mom, in and out of the car, church and stores. Mom walks pretty slow so she usually stays in the car unless we are at the hair salon, ha, ha. So I got my exercise for the week.

Thanks for the hockey shout-out.🏒 Hubs will be there tonight with his friend. I passed since I ran around today and will be with mom all day tomorrow so I wanted a peaceful evening.

Another nice day, looks like cooler for the weekend and a lot of rain next week.🌧 My irises are halfway up and my cherry tree has all the blossoms out. Hope we don’t get a freeze. I bet the outdoor cats are so happy they found Mrs. Dolittle’s yard. Warms my heart.💗

Good afternoon to you. Very nice day here, sunny and about 60.🌞 Sis made it home but she had a two hour delay with her connection.😣 She hasn’t had great luck with flights this year.

Ran to the store to pick up a few things for mom. Stopping tomorrow for a little while to get her mail and will be there most of the day Friday.

Getting ready to warm up some leftover meatloaf and cook some rice for dinner. I hope mom is eating, she weighs only 90 lbs. Sis always leaves her plenty of easy to make food but she does get picky.

Good Monday afternoon to you. Hope your headache is better from this morning.🤯 We have a high pollen count also and I’ve been sneezing.😤 Never a dull moment.

Today is actually very nice. Sunny and around 60.🌞 Tonight and tomorrow some rain. Sis leaves tomorrow so I’ll be running for a couple weeks.🏃‍♀️

Any special plans for Easter?🐰 I’ll be taking mom to church and after we will go to lunch. Pretty much the same as last year.

Wow, that cake looks good!🍰 I did bake one today but mine is not that fancy. White almond with vanilla icing and a few sliced almonds. Perfect for my cravings. Bought some Girl Scout cookies this morning so I should be in sugar shock by tonight.😲

Our weather is the same, very windy and cold.🌪🥶 Rained last night into this morning, a little sun peeking through right now.🌞 High today is 38 but we will be mostly low 60’s next week. Like I said before, we had spring in winter now winter in spring.🙄

Good evening to you. This day just flew by, I blinked and it was after 5:00. Started watching the hockey game – had to leave, too boring plus they’re losing.😣

We did not get fish from the church today. Wanted something different so I bought some crab cakes at the fish market and baked them with some potatoes and a veggie.🥔🥦 Hubs really liked them so I’ll get more for next Friday or whenever.

So surprised about Princess Kate, I will keep her in my prayers 🙏 along with you and my friend’s husband.

Nothing else planned this weekend. I think I will do a little baking tomorrow, it’s been a while since I made a cake or cookies.🧁🍪 Sending love and hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Oz has the same weather as the ‘burgh, sunny but cold. It was 24 when I got up this morning.🥶

I remember my mom ironing sheets while she watched soap operas. She even had a little shaker with water to dampen them. I also have a king bed but I do not iron my sheets. Since I hate ironing, I only iron what others may see.👀

Hubs had lunch with his sister while I was at mom’s so I only have to cook dinner for me. I think soup and/or grilled cheese sounds easy enough.🥣🍞🧀 Mom was in her slow mood today so we just looked at pics from the cruise. She was mad her soap opera wasn’t on because of the NCAA basketball tournament.😣

Good afternoon in Oz. Quite windy and chilly, our spring won’t be here until maybe the weekend.🌪🥶

Finally going up to mom’s tomorrow. Sis needs to go home for a dentist/doc appointment, get her hair cut and colored and just generally to check on her home. I know it’s hard living in two households and she has earned her way into heaven taking care of mom.😇

Did some grocery shopping this morning, one of my favorite jobs, yuk!😝 The other is ironing, yuk, yuk!😝😝 Other than cooking dinner, I will take it easy the rest of the day. Another wonderful loss last night, time for this season to be over.
