Spent most of last night coughing so now my stomach hurts from the contractions, geez Louise! Sent hubs to one of our local restaurants for some chicken noodle soup for dinner.🍲 Not the way I wanted to start the new year. A little warmer, we may hit 60 by Friday for one day.🔥

I hope you are enjoying your last game. It’s not on here, we have the Lions and Bears game. I did not hear that Travis officially retired. More time to plan the wedding.👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

Just finished watching the hockey game curled up on the couch with a blanket. Did a little undecorating earlier. Can’t get the old body moving today, sinuses still bothering me and still cold outside, high of 27.🥶 Warming up some mid-week.

Guess I’ll watch the football games after I throw a quickie dinner together.🏈 With the Chiefs out, I have no real favorites right now.

Good afternoon in Oz. Cold here also but at least we didn’t get more snow last night. Still didn’t sleep good, maybe one of these nights I will get back to normal. Too many weekends these last couple of weeks, getting the days all confused.😕

Did you happen to watch the Sugar Bowl last night?🏈 My niece goes to the University of Georgia, that’s why I watched. Not too into college football but what a game. Came down to the last minute. Georgia lost but both teams played great. Hockey team won three in a row, hard to believe!😲

Taking it easy, hubs brought home some fried chicken so that’s dinner.🍗 Warm hugs to you and all the fur kids.🤗💖

Happy 2026 to you! Starting off with five inches of snow, yuck.❄️❄️ Sounds like we both had the same kind of night with no sleep. Hubs has a sinus infection so got the neti pot out for him. I feel about the same, throat not as sore (yet). I’m just full of good news.

Just threw the pork in the oven with some veggies. Maybe I’ll finish the champagne with dinner.🍾 I think that was part of my problem last night with sleeping – not used to drinking it so late.

I think hubs is feeling a little better, me about the same.🤒 He lost his voice yesterday and it is back somewhat today. We will relax on the couch and watch whatever. Awaiting the 3-5 inches of snow, yuck!❄️

Got some unexpected snow last night and squalls throughout the day. In the 20s so not melting. Another three more inches between tomorrow evening and Thursday morning, sigh….

Hubs hasn’t felt good the last two days and now I’ve been coughing all day.🤒 What a way to start the new year. Doubt if I’ll be going to mom’s between the weather and being sick, another sigh….

We finally had a blowout game last night instead of overtime which we always seem to lose. What’s funny is the hockey team scored more points than the football team.🤣

Cold, very windy day, never left the house. We may have snow New Year’s eve.❄️

Happy New Year to you and your family!🎉🎊 I am not aware that shrimp cocktail is an east coast tradition but it is a tradition in my house. A very easy treat to prepare and enjoy, no cooking, lol! Years ago, us and two other couples took turns having a New Year’s party and we always had a big bowl of shrimp to grab and eat. Goes well with all drinks.🍸🍹🥂

Chilly day in the ‘burgh. Warm tomorrow and Monday then back to the 20s and 30s the rest of the week.🥶

Last dinner out for Christmas today. It was very nice and had an aperol spritz for something different instead of a martini. That sure hit the spot!🍹

Staying home for New Year’s Eve. We will have our shrimp cocktail and champagne in front of the TV.🎊🎉

No bad weather today so had lunch with friends at the casino. I am not a big gambler, came home with $10 more than what I went in with so I was happy, LOL!🎰 Nice afternoon. One more dinner tomorrow.

Sis is doing fine, thanks for asking. She is much more laid back than I am. I think that happens when you are away most of your life from family. I tend to worry about everything because I was always the one called upon for help.😟
