Hot afternoon to you! I ran out to get my haircut, which is a few minutes from my house, and I had sweat dripping down my face.😓 So much for makeup. Very warm and humid and we have thunderstorm warnings again until 8:00. ⛈️

I am not a basketball fan but there was nothing on TV last night so I turned on the playoff game. When NY was losing by 30 points I turned it off. I guess that was a mistake when I saw the news this morning. What an awesome comeback!!! I missed all the excitement.

Ready for tonight, hope it’s a good game.🏒 Since it’s been back and forth, I guess LV will win. Neither team has won or lost two in a row. We shall see.

Well, at least we didn’t have to go into overtime last night and they didn’t have to play hurry up and catch up. Back to Carolina tomorrow and one more in Vegas. This is what I mean about these playoffs going on forever.😮 This started back in April!

We had a few storms this morning but now the sun is out. It’s going to be back and forth until Saturday. And hot and humid.

I did catch some of Heidi this afternoon. Such beautiful colors. That first necklace was a stunner!✨

Glad to hear your SIL is doing great, that was a major ordeal. Hope your sister is near 100%. Still saying prayers for both every night.🙏

Very humid day, I guess that’s why we are getting more severe storms tomorrow and Thursday. So tired of worrying about trees falling and power outages.😟

Did go visit mom today. Solved most of the world’s problems over a cup of tea.☕

Good afternoon to you. Stayed inside all day and did this and that. May run up to mom’s tomorrow since we are supposed to have more storms Wednesday and Thursday.⛈️ It was confirmed that two tornadoes touched down on Saturday.🌪️ Some people still don’t have power.

About half of my lemonade is gone.🍋 It is tasting so good. Something different for a change.

We got the storms late yesterday afternoon and evening.⛈️ The worst was south of the ‘burgh with trees down and power outages and the Morgan Wallen concert was cancelled. All remained upright at my house.

Another wild game, I figured it was over when it was 4-0. How do you not score for two periods then get three goals in 39 seconds? If nothing else, don’t miss the third period!🏒

That opossum sure is a cutie!😊 I did not know they have such short lives. I’ll be waiting for one to show up in my zoo yard since I have everything else.🤣

Right now we have storm warnings so keeping my fingers crossed the power stays on so I can cook and watch the game later.

Yep, been eating the donuts. Two yesterday and one for breakfast today.🍩🍩🍩 Pretty soon I will look like a donut!

To celebrate Bubbly Day, I think I will have some Moscato while watching the game.🍾 I always have a bottle of that in the house. Even people who don’t drink like it.

I hope you watched the last five minutes and overtime of the game last night. I was a little bored throughout but the ending was insane!!😮 What a way to win a game, awesome.👏 I hope McNabb from Vegas wasn’t too badly hurt from the puck in the face, ouch!😩 On to Vegas. I love watching games in Vegas – they celebrate every game like it’s a five-star headliner show. Even Elvis is there, lol!🤣

Good afternoon in Oz. We are warm here also and will be for the next week. We have not had rain for eight days but the forecast says we will have storms on Saturday.⛈️

Carolina needs to win tonight or their chances go way down. Hope it’s a good game and not boring.

We are on the same wavelength. Ode to Billy Joe is one of the first things I thought of this morning. One of a few songs you can actually remember relating to a date. So good!💕

Friday is National Donut Day – guess where I’ll be going bright and early?🍩 Making my list for my dozen splurge. Hubs said he would stop but I said no because he would get all the same ones with different sprinkles/icing. I get the “elite” donuts, custard filled, cream filled, jelly filled, bear claws, French crullers, etc. I rarely eat donuts so this is a big treat!🍩🍩

Spaghetti for dinner today, quick and easy when you already have sauce made.🍝 And I’ll have leftovers for tomorrow.

I think one more nice day and then the heat will be here for the next week. Our electric rates went up yesterday, just in time for the a/c and fans being turned on.😖

Just finished making some pasta salad to go with our sandwiches for dinner. Time for lemonade season, I’ll get some this week.🍋

Thanks for thinking of my hubs. He had a very good day, best score so far this year.🏌️‍♂️ Being out with the other guys took his mind off his friend.

Not much going on for me this week, no appointments or “have to do” running around. Not yet, anyways, lol! Something always seems to pop up.
