Gorgeous day in the ‘burgh. Bright sunshine, breezy and mid-70s.🌞 Another one tomorrow.

Ice cream of my choice, you know I will choose more than one, LOL!🤣 More like a taste of each one you have.🍦🍦 Can there be anyone who doesn’t like ice cream?

We plan to get together with my niece and SIL tomorrow for lunch. Since the day will be nice, we are going to the winery so we can sit outside. Pasta and wine – the PERFECT day!🍝🍷 Wish you could join us. Certain days they have bands and singers so you would fit right in!👍

Every now and then we need to slow down and relax. Easy to say, hard to do. As I’ve gotten older, I do try and I say no more often. Glad your hubs was king for the day!👑

I feel a little better but still moving slow. I tried to vacuum today and had to stop a couple times. Played secretary for hub’s golf league and sent room lists to the hotel for their August trip.🏌️‍♂️ Hard to believe half the year is gone already.😮

Watching the US Open and it is getting crazy. It may be a battle to the end.

Niece from Georgia is here so trying to figure a day this week to get together. I have a few appointments this week so hopefully we can fit in a lunch or dinner.

Happy last day of Spring. Beautiful day in the ‘burgh, sunny and mid-70s.🌞

I did a few extra things today even though I had an up and down, back and forth kind of night. Hubs and I started a new reality show – The Voice: Battle of the Coughers!😂 Don’t have much of a voice left.

Hubs ran out for hoagies so we will eat those and watch the Open.

I am better than I was yesterday. You can just write yesterday off of the calendar of my life. I now know exactly what it’s like to do absolutely nothing.🤒 All I did was move from the couch to the bathroom and back to the couch.

Still not 100%, less coughing, more sneezing. I will take an antihistamine tomorrow since I had to take some meds today and didn’t want to combine them. Hubs has to go for a breathing test tomorrow to make sure he doesn’t get pneumonia again. He had covid three times so I think this is a lingering effect. I think I will sit back and watch some of the US Open tomorrow.🏌️‍♂️

We are getting the same as you. A little rain tomorrow and First Alert weather day on Thursday. We have had 11 tornadoes in the area already this year.😮

Had an appointment this morning to look for a new patio door. Thank goodness the man came to the house because I still don’t feel well. Super tired, coughing and sniffling.🤧 Staying away from mom’s until this goes away.

I will probably zonk out early tonight since I was up at 4:30. My request is a hot toddy. Lots of hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

I am so glad these games are over. The nerves were giving me headaches.🤯 I woke up in the middle of the night hot and with stomach pains, which could have been partly due to some new soup I ate for dinner. Stayed home and near the bathroom all day.🥣 Now we have tennis, golf and baseball. I am definitely not into soccer, too boring for me and not enough scoring.

We have the 70s also today, very nice Monday. Weather experts are here analyzing tornadoes that might have touched down yesterday.🌪️ More storms to come Thursday.

We can both relax this evening, I may even fall asleep early since last night was goofy. Super big hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

The game was back and forth all night. Very glad NY won after all these years, yay!✨ Now we have to see if the same outcome happens tonight. My nerves need a break.

We are getting your weather today. Already rained some this morning. Strong storms this afternoon into this evening and high winds. I am keeping fingers crossed we have power or I won’t even see the game.

I am right there with you, go Knicks!!👍 I think I will have some iced tea tonight, unless the game is very close. Then I will need something stronger to take the edge off and calm the nerves, lol!🍹 Whatever my bartender feels like making.

The deer decided they wanted hosta salad last night.🦌 And I sprayed them religiously with deer off. You said your plants and flowers are doing great – what do you use to keep them away? Maybe the midwest deer have more manners than the northeast deer.

NHL and NBA, everything coming down to the wire. I will tune in to the basketball game tomorrow after missing the dramatics the last game.🏀 Hope the hockey is over Sunday.

Ran to the grocery store this morning for a few things. Right now I feel wiped out and really haven’t done much. So I ate a cookie for some sugar overload.🍪 I feel like I ran a marathon, it must be the weather and humidity, but I do have the a/c on.

I just watched Taylor’s speech at the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Awards. Very well done.

That dog would have been mine. Just shaking my head. At the shelter, we had a few people drop off dogs at the front door. All they needed to do was bring the animal in and we would have taken care of it. Jake was a stray so I knew nothing about him. No collar, no notifications from anyone missing a dog so the humane officers brought him in. It takes a little while to get them through the system but I knew Jake had a lot of love in him (except for thunderstorms.) If I had the room, I would have 10 of them in my home.❤️❤️❤️ There are many ways to give up a pet besides abandonment. Breaks my heart.
