Sounds like you are snowed in.🌨 We are getting more tonight. Even the south is getting hit, saw news on Dallas and Nashville. Talked to my SIL in Atlanta yesterday and they were supposed to get snow today along with closing schools and businesses. Summer we had extreme heat, now extreme cold. Pretty soon we will only have two seasons.

Picked up some fried chicken at the grocery store this morning🍗 and made a little potato salad so that’s dinner. Sounds like a summer picnic, lol! Here’s to above freezing temps, I think we have one day in the next week.🥶 Love and hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Mom and sis are leaving on Monday for their cruise. We have another week of frigid temps coming so they are leaving at the right time. I know they will be warmer with no snow!!

Hubs at the hockey game tonight with his friend. They have not been doing well so I will probably be watching Penn State in the Orange Bowl.🏈

Grocery shopping tomorrow before we get more snow in the evening.❄ It has been a week, for sure, sounds like Oz is the same. Warms my heart that the kitties are still coming and using your shelter. As I was shoveling the deck today I saw a bunny run out from underneath, I probably scared him.🐰 He looked so cute hopping through the snow.

Good afternoon, still cold here and still snow showers.🥶❄ The snow is not melting since it is still in the teens and twenties. Hubs did the driveway about four times this week so far.

Not a good week or how I wanted to start the new year. Two different friends of ours had brothers die, one last Saturday and the other this past Monday.😥 This weekend will be spent at two funeral homes.

Getting ready to bake some shrimp for dinner.🍤 I hope you feel better from last night. I am still praying very hard for your SIL.🙏 Someone has to hear these prayers. Fireside hugs to you, Poppy and all the outside critters.🤗💖

Sounds like everyone is digging out in your area. We did not get hit bad, most of the storm stayed south of us. Hubs shoveled the driveway, maybe two inches or so. But still cold all week.🥶

That was a very weird game, I don’t think any of them wanted to play or cared.🙄 Can’t even remember the last time they were shut out. Hope they don’t get too lazy with a couple weeks off.

All that you have is heading for us overnight and through tomorrow.🥶 They keep changing the snow predictions – right now it is 4-6 inches.❄ Also, same temps, highs in the 20s and lows in the teens and single digits, brrrr! Like you, I am making a meatloaf today which is always at least a two-day meal. If the power goes out we can at least have sandwiches tomorrow.

I will be watching the game while I cook.🏈 I’m glad it will be a no worries game. Golden Globes later this evening.

It is 20 degrees with about 3-4 inches of snow.🥶 Did not leave the house today. I am making soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.🥣🥪 We are supposed to have more snow, 2-4 inches, Monday morning. So far, no ice.

I did read that PM is not playing tomorrow so we don’t have to worry about him getting hurt and we don’t have to worry if they win or lose, yay!🏈 One stress-free game before the playoffs.

Hi in Oz, windy and snowy in the ‘burgh.🥶❄ Hubs had to shovel this morning and it is now covered again. Most of the state is in a winter weather advisory, more to come Sunday into Monday.

Mom and sis leave in ten days for their Hawaii cruise.🛳 They will be ready to get the heck out of here.

Finished taking down Christmas decorations today🎄, planning on staying in the rest of the weekend. Niece is home, no more games since they lost last night.

Hang in there through the ice and snow, I’ll do the same. Keeping fingers crossed for both of us with the electricity.🤞 Sending new year hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Like you, I was thinking it was Friday, at least I was only one day off.🙄 We had a little snow and ice last night. Tomorrow morning is a “first alert” weather day. They are predicting 1-3″ of snow up until about noon.❄ Of course hubs has a doctor’s appointment and I have a hair appointment. I’m sure the roads will be taken care of, it’s getting down my driveway that’s tricky. I have no problem canceling and staying home.

I guess my niece is okay, I didn’t talk to her mom today. The game is on right now. I sure hope your SIL is able to handle the day.🙏💗🙏💗

Happy New Year, what a way to start the first day of 2025.😥 Just too much to handle. My great niece goes to the University of Georgia, plays in the band and is in New Orleans right now for the Sugar Bowl. Prayers for all the victims.🙏

Hubs and I went out for an early dinner yesterday then came back home and watched football and hockey with our wine and shrimp.🥂🍤 Glad you enjoyed yourself at the neighbor’s. This is the first year we didn’t hear firecrackers after midnight.🧨🎆

Temps in the 30s today, 20s by Friday and will stay there for almost two weeks.🥶 Winter has landed! Sending lots of love and hugs to you and your family.🤗💖

Talked to my friend yesterday and our lunch is postponed. She has a bad cold and cough.🤧 ‘Tis the season being around too many people. I did see on the news that the flu cases have soared this month so I hope it’s not that. I have to go one day this week for some labs. Just glad I don’t have to get on the scale.😖

Greetings on this Sunday, doesn’t feel like Sunday with our football team not playing. They will get a nice rest to end the year.🎉 I did see pics of T&T out and about in NYC.

We hit 64 yesterday, rainy and around 60 today and by Friday the high will be 28.🥶 That cold front you’re getting will make its way east.

Funny how you get so used to things. I open my fridge and can’t find where I put anything and I know I put it in there yesterday!🙄 It’s like a puzzle to test my brain.🧠
