Made a quick stop at mom’s today for a couple things. Didn’t want to do too much since my back feels better. Guess I need a few more days of doing nothing, LOL!🤣

Made some pasta salad to go with chicken for dinner. Your chili sounds good, haven’t made that in awhile.🍲

Mom got her cast off today and now she has a plastic brace to wear. Her fingers and arm are still swollen but at least she can scratch her arm without using a weapon. She will have that on at least three weeks. My back/knees still hurt but at least they are not worse. All mom’s fault, LOL!🤣 I hope your sinus problem isn’t too bad. Never a dull moment.

You are right, Thanksgiving coming up way too fast.🦃 Before we know it, Christmas will be over.

Chilly, dreary day here, some snow flakes and sprinkles.❄️🌧️ Ran out to get a haircut and haven’t done much else. I did not hear about T&T getting a new home in NY. Lord, how many do they need? After the Chiefs lost Sunday, my husband said maybe the wedding will be moved up now, LOL!🤣

No big deal about the hockey game. I just mentioned it because it was nice to see a game early in the morning and over by noon. Nice change of pace from the night games where I sometimes doze off if it’s boring.😴

Another doctor’s appt. for mom tomorrow. If my back feels a little better I will be there. She is already sick of the cast and its only been 2-1/2 weeks. They told her she’d have it for at least four weeks. We shall see.

I saw the very end of the game. The network switched over and I saw the field goal. I was checking throughout the game and it was close the whole time. Oh well, on to next week. Congrats to Travis for breaking the touchdown record.👍

My lower back started hurting yesterday so I have been taking it easy today. Maybe it’s sciatica but my leg doesn’t hurt. Hard to move, I will give it a couple days. Always something.🙄

We are not quite as warm as Oz but still nice in the 60s. We will be in the 40s starting tomorrow. So hubs decided since it was warm to put the outside Christmas decorations up today.🎄🎀 We won’t turn the lights on until after Thanksgiving. One holiday at a time for me, lol!

Went to visit my friend today. It will be one year at the end of the month that her husband passed from the pancreatic cancer. That sure went fast. Her kids are keeping her busy.❤️

I always keep you in my prayers and every year at this time you ace all your tests.🙏 This year will be the same, I’m sure.👍

Thanks for thinking of mom. I ran up today to sit with her since sis needed to make a trip to Costco for supplies. She’s still not real steady using one hand so I want someone there all the time right now.

1587 For Thanksgiving? Their turkeys are probably professionally raised on a specialty farm so one wing will cost $1,587.00.🦃 You might have to share it!🤣

Very happy your labs went well, you always ace all the tests, yay!👍 All they did for mom was take another x-ray. Next week they will take the cast off to look at the arm. She will probably have another one put on but it may be different so she can use her fingers more. We shall see.

I wanted to go out for Thanksgiving but I don’t think that’s too feasible for mom. She would probably have trouble eating so we will order out and eat at home.🦃 Me and sis will make a few extra sides and dessert.🥧 Any of your kids or family coming to your house?

Did some grocery shopping this morning.🛒 I don’t normally shop on Sunday’s but had to fit it in so I can be available for mom and sis. Mom’s next doc appointment is Wednesday.

We will both be in the middle of the cold front.🥶 Ours starts tomorrow night with rain turning to snow showers on Monday and highs in the 30s.

Mom is feeling about the same. You won’t believe this – she said her arm started itching so she took her letter opener to scratch it just like you, LOL!🤣 I never even told her that’s what you did. Again, we are somehow related.

I did stay home all day and tried to take it easy. My knees are going to take a few more days to get back to my normal shuffle.🧎‍♀️ Going up to mom’s tomorrow to spend some time helping her and sis with whatever.

Plan to sit back with hubs this evening and enjoy something on TV. If it’s up to him, we will be watching some kind of sports.⛳🏈🏒 I don’t care, just glad to be relaxing. At least we don’t have to stress about a football game this weekend, yay!

Sis got back fine yesterday, no delays or cancellations with the government shutdown, thank goodness.

You know me well. Other than take a shower and wash my hair, I did a lot of nothing today. Needed to relax after six days of nonstop, velcro daughter duties. Mom is okay, I know she is disgusted about how long this will take to heal. And it is her dominant hand so that is even more irritating. At least there are two of us now to share the work.👧👧 Doc gave her some pills to relax her. We have to take it day by day.

We are getting the same weather Sunday night into Monday, may see some snow showers.❄️ Cold for a few days then warmer later in the week. Interesting article on Mahomes and Kimmel. I wasn’t aware of that.
