Love this bag! It is not at HSN, I checked! I have been bad. All this purging got to me and I ordered the TS in the rose print. I liked the mint too. If I love it when it gets here I may get the matching wallet or scarf if still available. So cute!

Hi Loaf! Hope you have a great Easter with the grand-kids! My hubby’s birthday is coming up too! What day is your hubby’s? Maybe they are on the same day! 😀 I believe Sheba’s hubby is coming up too – if I remember correctly he is a Taurus like mine and we are both Leos. Oh my, what a combination! LOl!
Have a good one! Hugs to Bella! 😀

Did you bring back any tulip bulbs? Did you take lots of pictures?
Glad your SAS walking shoes worked out. I bought some last year but they are in need of replacing. I have worn Brooks before and I have bough Easy Spirit from HSN. Both those brands are very comfy. I don’t know if they carry wide wide but check them out. I have a med foot but the SAS seem a little narrow in the foot and wider in the ankle which doesn’t give me much ankle support. Brooks have been my faves.
I agree, hatred has to stop with the individual so it doesn’t spread. Unfortunately, there will always be hatred and evil so we have to work on ourselves to bring light and love to this world.Do you use your elliptical? Mine is a huge “professional” one and takes up so much room. I must have been insane when I bought it. It is not the same size as the ones at the gym, nor is it that easy to use. If I don’t sell it soon I will have to donate it. Expensive mistake. I hate that – makes me feel guilty.
My house is small. Only (I forget exactly) 1325 or 1375 sq. ft. but it is designed well with no wasted space so it doesn’t seem as small, but the reality is that it IS too small for us and the kitties. Our washer/dryer used to be in the garage but we “borrowed” space from the garage and built a laundry room/ litter box room and installed a pet door from the family room so kitties could access that room. There is a nice security door with a pet screen so they can look outside from that room too. We had a wall put in to close up the living room and added interior french doors so we could have a “kitty-free zone”. (Thank God, I only have to clean in there once a week!) The family room is connected to the kitchen and that is where we all hang out with the kitties. 😀
So, you ask, how do we do it? We keep at it every day. Litter boxes are scooped out many times daily, washed out every 5-7 days. We sweep, vacuum, swiffer, and mop floors every day. We steam mop once a week. We have tile floors throughout house except bedrooms so the fur/dust bunnies move at warp speed. We dust and wash off tables every day (multiple times). We use ionizers and use organic citrus oil spray because it doesn’t bother them or us. We try to brush them every couple of days but some are not cooperative while others love it. I wash walls and woodwork once a month (or more often if needed). We work very hard at keeping the house as clean as possible when you live with so many kitties. Our house is a lot cleaner than many people who DON’T have fur babies. I have heard people say cats are easier than dogs but I think that is said by people who don’t have many cats and don’t possibly understand or know how hard we work. Any way, that’s how we do it and it takes the two of us. I think when our daughter is graduated next year we will hire help once a month or bi-weekly for deep cleaning. I wish we could do it now. I REALLY wish we could do it now. 😀
Have a good one Amy! Hugs to Ari! 😀 -
Thank you for the update on Bear. I am glad to know he is back to his sweet and sassy self! 😀
Hey, I understand about the soft foods, I have to eat them myself until the dental surgery happens and then I’m sure for a couple weeks afterward. I am not looking forward to that.Glad to hear you love your Rose Elegance necklace and you don’t find it TOO heavy! Some of her necklaces and earrings can get very heavy. Have you worn your House of Daus yet? I know you have quite a collection of Heidi, like Sheba. I haven’t counted mine but it is not large. My overall jewelry is quite large and I am hoping to go through it next week and downsize some more.
My goal for 2019 is to organize and downsize my “stuff”. I have to really think about what I really want or need or has sentimental value to me. I ended up returning the DB bag I bought as a TS. The color was wrong for me and I just didn’t “need” it. Funny though, how I can turn my “wants” into “needs” on occasion. I am going to get more honest about that. I had to laugh when you said that many of us can relate to the garage looking like a hoarders haven. Lately I have been watching videos on organizing, downsizing and even some hoarders for motivation to NEVER let it get that bad! My garage was pretty bad but it is mostly due to the fact that things were packed up during renovations and thrown into garage. I have tile out there, closet doors, slate stone, drywall, grout, just so much! I can’t wait for it to be totally clean and done. I am going to use one of the closet doors as my work table. The other one can be donated. The reason I started this project (organizing/downsizing) this year is because I would never want my kids to have to deal with cleaning out my garage when I’m gone. It’s just not fair to give them that stress. I’m going to do it now while I can. I am just trying to be practical and keep ahead of life, which, as we know, happens…
Lol @ your hubby – pick up and carry out! Mine too! He always mans the George Foreman. His main job around here is scooping the litter box and for that he deserves to wear a crown! 😀
Have a good one! Hugs to Bear! 😀 -
@Sheba,
Thank you for posting that history on the Notre Dame Cathedral. I had no idea it was built that long ago or that it took 182 years to complete! Wow! Paris is one of my visits on my list and there are so many interesting places to see there. It was really sad to see it on the news burning, the tower falling. All of that history gone. So sad. I did hear many of the artifacts were saved, including the crown of thorns believed to be worn by Christ. I am hoping the cause of the fire was due to explainable and acceptable causes, not from the result of arson.
I am glad your kids are ok from those tornadoes and horrible storms that ripped through their state. What a worry you must have had!
No, son won’t be down for Easter. My daughter and grandson won’t be here either. They are going down to see MIL which I think is more important for daughter to see her grandmother and for grandson to see his great-grandmother! MIL is so excited and they will probably also meet the new baby! Everyone is excited to see them!
Hubby and I will just have a quiet relaxing day and probably go out to dinner or just share a simple meal here. We usually have an Easter egg hunt in the backyard for grandson so I will miss doing that but with the kittens in hiding it is probably for the best. I’m just happy they get to go down there. We will be taking care of their kitties and bunny.We are taking a break from garage today. I am working on nightstands and bathroom drawers and cabinets. I am not one with much room for products so I tend to buy only what I know to like so the bathroom won’t be too bad. The nightstand, on the other hand… I use the bottom drawer as my paper junk drawer where I put things I don’t have time to deal with and the goal is to go through it once a month. Yeah, right! LOL! I am taking my drawer back today and making a fabric basket into my paper junk box and will keep in my armoire with the TV, stereo, some CD’s and a few movies. I use the bottom drawer for my daily meds (to re-fill my pill box which I carry at all times in my purse), small dumb-bells and any product overflow (unopened or rarely used) from bathroom (storage space in bathroom is very minimal, lucky for me I am very low- maintenance). It feels so good to purge and organize. I mean, who needs 15 different colors of nail polish? I will keep my faves.
Hubby just left with Roberto for vet to get that bald spot on his neck and chin checked out. He appears to have a sore under his chin. I am worried.
What is on your agenda today? Are you still spring cleaning? Hugs to Poppy! 😀That was a close call with that rattlesnake! You would have heard me scream from miles away! Especially if those canyons echo! Lol! I am glad you are safe! Do you hike in long pants, long sleeves and hiking boots? Please be careful! Those snakes mean business! I think it’s baby season too so they might be even more protective and defensive.
Hey, our ducks laid eggs! How exciting! Soon we will see little baby ducklings around here! So adorable! 😀 Can it be any cuter around here with baby kittens and baby ducklings? 😀 😀 😀@Cherie,
Thank you so much for the kind words about spreading the love. That is actually one of the nicest things someone can say to me, so THANK YOU very much! 😀
I never knew it was Sheba who gave you your name! I thought Cherie was your real name! I remember how the Captain became Captain. It was when Sheba said her hubby was Cool Hand Luke. I won’t say who my hubby looks like because y’all won’t be able to keep from wanting to get your hands on him! LOL! jk. Hubby looks like himself – a 6″1″ ex-jock with bad knees. Green eyes, Italian. Just keeping it real. LOL. 😀I am worried I am taking too long posting and this will go poof so I will post separately to bichon18 and southernlights55.
Hope all have a good day! Hugs and kitty hugs! 😀

@Sheba,
I’m glad Dad is doing ok and mom is well. I hope your labs go well. I feel I have to do a lot because I see both cardiologists on Wednesday and Thursday so those days are shot. I know what you mean about having to be quiet or you will scare the bunny away. The new kittens will be emerging from the bushes soon and will scare easily. I am pacing myself. Just came in to take my meds and check here so see? I am taking a few minutes for myself. I have to when I am doing yard work, it really wears me out. Although the garage has been a lot of lifting and moving, it is actually easier then bending down to cut the ferns (I get dizzy). Well, back to work… You take it easy too!
I am having trouble signing in and posting today. Anyone else having a problem or is it just my cable company? Can’t wait to cut it! Have a good one! 😀

@Cherie,
Awww, thank you for your kind words! 😀 Everyone likes to be appreciated so thank you! Believe me, I love all the kitties and am so happy I get to have them in my life! 😀
Love the kitty in the picture! It is always so hard to describe Walker’s, Chewey’s and Tina’s ears but that cat has them. The pink and the black patches. Tina has short white fur like the cat in the picture. She is tiny in stature (like her mommy) but stocky (like her daddy). She has a large black spot on her side. Walker had those same ears but he had a black patch around one eye which really made the intense blue even bluer! He also had white fur, very fluffy and a large black spot on his side. He was very big (23 1/2 lbs). I called him “Baby Bear”, “Baby Boy, “Panda” and “Shumaki”. He knew when he was called Shumaki that he was going to get belly rubs and would plop down right then and there! Chewey has the same ears, black nose but all white fluffy fur with a grey tail. Anyway, I sort of went on there didn’t I? I was just surprised to see a cat with their ears! 😀
Have a good night! Hugs and kitty hugs! 😀 -
@Sheba,
That lemon water looks very yummy! Did you see your bunny? I LOVE the bunny gallery! Yes, I did get the VC TS. It has been a busy day. Daughter said last night Isabel wasn’t doing well so we took her to vet this afternoon. She checked out fine just having some pain so she got new pain meds and antibiotics that will help her completely empty her bladder and to help with swelling so she will be more comfy. Everything looks good though and she is eating and drinking. Daughter had classes all day so she was relieved and thankful we were able to take her in to get checked. I am very tired today and going to bed early. When is AL on again? I know it is coming up soon. I want to get the eye support. Have a good night! Hugs to Poppy.
Oh yeah, forgot to tell you… Today is Laramie, Jess, Harper and Pumpkin’s FIRST BIRTHDAY! 😀
Shout outs to everyone! Hugs and kitty hugs! 😀 @bichon18, get your rest!

Anyone getting the TS? I am! I love Vince Camuto! I am getting the lilac color, possibly one of the florals! 😀

Sheba, very cute jumpsuit! Wish I could wear them. They tend to make me look short. You can carry this off. I’m 5’5″, my sister is 5’10” and she can carry this off too. Let us know if you get it!

@Sheba,
I LOVE the little kitty on the bicycle! I would love to go for a ride with that little fluffy cutie! I love the kitchens the Property Brothers do. I have good ideas on my own.
I am glad you saw the bunny last night! They do run fast! Do you have a name for it? I am sure he will love the food you leave. I bet Velvet would love it! 😀 Hugs to Poppy!@taci,
Yes, we have done a lot on our house. It will be hard leaving it but we just need more room with all the kitties! And hopefully many more grandchildren! We often say we wish we could pick the house up and move it and add a second story. It looks like a cute little dollhouse. It is a creamy white color with white trim and a blue door similar to the blue Tiffany boxes. We have lots of white “Iceberg” roses and peach English roses in the front with maidenhair ferns, blue iris, dusty miller and pink and white geraniums . We bought a big terracotta lion wall fountain for the entry but it is still in the garage and we are going to use it in our next house. Our house looks happy. 😀@southernlights,
I checked my emails and saw your “Rose elegance” necklace. Wow! What a beauty! I can see why you couldn’t resist! Hope little Bear is feeling even better today! Give him hugs for me!@loaf,
Hope you are well and enjoying this Easter season! Hugs to Bella! 😀 -
@Cherie,
I think there has been a misunderstanding about me being a “foster”. I was telling southern that I would fail because I wouldn’t be able to give them up! And I have failed miserably! When Chewey, Tina, Gizmo and Kutos were born, we were going to find homes. Didn’t happen! LOL! My son’s friend fell in love with Kutos so we were able to let her have him because we knew she would adore him! We have seen pictures and he is truly loved and spoiled, 😀 Hubby thought he had a home for Chewey and the man came by and took him home with him. I cried buckets all night and made hubby go get him back in the morning. I told him I can’t live without him! Well, Chewey wasn’t happy either and cried all night too! It was a reunion made in Heaven for sure! 😀 I am just not good at giving them up so I don’t “foster”. It is gut-wrenching. God bless southern for being strong enough to do that!
The kitties just seem to find their way to us and I can’t let them go. I don’t know how I am going to be able to part with these new ones. It will take a miracle. When we lost 5 of the 6 orphans last June I was devastated beyond words. Thank you for the nice words but it is southern who is the hero here. 😀 -
Love you too Amy! Glad you are home safely and cuddling with Ari! I bet you are having a great home coming! Rest. You can tell us all about your trip after you get some good rest! Welcome home! 😀 Hugs and kitty hugs! 😀

@Sheba,
What a nice neighbor! I hope you stay in touch with him. My mom loved Jackie Kennedy! My mom had her style. Tragic about John-John. That is Soooo scary about that snake being in your son’s room! How creepy! How did it get in there? Eeewww. spine tingling creepiness! Lol! That is nervous laughter, not funny laughter! Shivers.
I love Property Brothers too. And Chip and Joanna. I like to watch love it or list it also. I used to watch Rehab addict but we cut back on cable and I don’t get the DIY channel anymore. There was also a show I loved on that station but can’t remember the name. It was about restoring very old farmhouses. They were anywhere from 100-300 years old and they were in Pennsylvania.
The only thing I don’t like about the home renovation shows is the false costs! There is no way the normal person can possibly have that work done for that amount of money! I think their costs are so deflated because they are not including labor. I just laugh when they say the bathroom will be 10k. Yeah, right! NO WAY! I had both my bathrooms (which are small) renovated and it was over 6 times that amount! Crazy! I have had every room in this house renovated except the kitchen. The outside has been worked on too – new driveway, patio, walkways, stucco, doors and windows, HVAC. Believe me, their estimates and costs are CRAZY and unrealistic!
Oh yeah, I loved Drew and his wife’s home! Love Chip and Joanna’s farm. All those animals! 😀Have you seen the bunny tonight? We are leaving for our walk in a bit. It is windy tonight.
