@Sheba,
First, let me say how sorry I am to hear about your cousin. I read your post earlier but was waiting for you to put my space in before I posted to you. I hope everyone in the family will find some peace at this time.
I am glad to hear your Dr appointment went well! My appointment with the new EP is next Wednesday. I was confused on dates. I am a little nervous and hope I like him. Today I have the unpeasant task of calling my old EP and cancelling the angiogram. They will want to know why and I don’t want to get involved in any thing going on between these two drs. I’m stressing over it.
I met with the oral surgeon for consult #2. Last consult was with the other Dr in the practice. This time I met with the one who worked on my husband. She really put me at ease about it all. She has referred me to the oral surgery department at the hospital which is also a teaching hospital CUSF. The head Dr there is the one who trained her! All the Drs there are DDS and MD so I am in good hands. I also found out that MY DAD taught her when he taught for a while at Loma Linda University and UCLA! She was very excited to tell me that and remembered him very fondly! The hospital oral surgery department does facial reconstruction, jaw surgery, oral/facial cancer surgery and tooth extractions for high risk (heart) people. I am going to be in good hands – and it’s as if my dad is looking out for me! 😀 Now I just need to get the heart business over with so we can proceed. I am expecting a call any day to set up the consult with them. If in the meantime I have any tooth pain they will prescribe antibiotics for inflammation/infection.Yes, I did get my Patricia Nash bag. It’s very nice. It is sitting on my dresser so I can look at it while deciding if it is really a need or a want. well, obviously, it’s a want so I have to decide how much I want it when I have possibly 3 surgeries coming up. Life is short so be happy, but medical bills are stressful. I will need to decide… I have so many things in my wardrobe that work with it.
Thank you for the adorable kitten picture! I heard the kittens for the first time a couple of days ago when both girls had to leave their babies to protect them from another cat in the yard! Boy are those girls fierce! The cat was 2x the size of Alejandra but when it went near the corner where her babies are she fought him and ran him out of the yard as quick as lightening! What a good mama! I told her “Good girl, Alejandra”! Hopefully that cat will never return!
I’m glad you are having spring weather now. Are “gumball” trees the same as Sycamore trees? I love those trees if they are! My son as a little boy used to pick up those prickly balls and give them to me as “gifts”. Lol! I saved one of them and still have it. 😀
Have a good day and I hope you feel better soon over the loss of your cousin. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Hugs to Poppy!
