Interpath Advisory was appointed to oversee the administration on January 7, 2025, with the firm operating as 2025 Realisations Limited during this process.
Rescue Deal:
Sara Davies, in partnership with Modella Capital, purchased the business and certain assets back from the administrator immediately following the filing to ensure the company continued to trade as a going concern.
Restructuring Impact:
While the majority of the business was saved, the administration resulted in the closure of a store in Barlborough (near Chesterfield) and the loss of around 10 jobs.
Reason for Collapse:
The company had struggled with debt following an unsuccessful expansion strategy and post-pandemic economic challenges, despite previous investment.
The company 2025 Realisations Limited was incorporated to manage the insolvency, while the operational business continues to trade as Crafter’s Companion under new ownership.
The company 2025 Realisations Limited will be dissolved by liquidation in March 2026.
Cedarcrest Global Trading Limited now use the name Crafters Companion and this is the company trading on Hobbymaker and Crafters Companion website etc.”

Hello Jen Juan, I loved watching you and listening to your stories about the different jewelry artisans. I remember you including pictures and videos of them when possible. I shopped CC because of you and the jewelry. I also saw Turquoise Tuesdays on Instagram, which said their jewelry was made by the artisans at Chaco Canyon. When you weren’t on HSN, I asked about you on their fb page. They said you had moved on. Sometime later, I noticed CC fb page posted something political. I was shocked by it and brought it to the page’s attention. Thinking they wouldn’t want to alienate their customers. I received a snarky message from the blonde-haired rep telling me that if I disagreed with their stance to shop elsewhere because they didn’t need or want my business. I’m glad you have moved on, but you are missed.
