Ron White
How annoying can he get, had to turn it off.

Well, I have seen Ron White on other shopping websites like ShopHQ that no longer exists. I always wondered who he was since his shoes were so expensive. His brand was appropriate for ShopHQ as ShopHQ also sold 14k, 18k and 24K, real diamonds and native Indian jewelry, which I also purchased there.
Now I think that the representative for the shoes (on the List with Debbie D.) was great! He presented details that explained the structure and the quality leather and other parts. Think about it…Genuine Leather products are becoming harder to find, which means only cheap non-leather, pleather products are being sold, which wear and tear in about 5 years or less. No longer will you have a leather purse from 10 or 20 years ago that you find and start wearing again! Vintage will also become more expensive, since only vintage will be real leather!
Back to Ron White…I purchased a pair and tried to purchase a 2nd pair but unfortunately missed out on the 2nd pair as they sold out in my size. So, there are those, including me, that are happy to give them a try because some of us love a good luxury shoe that is also comforting.
Lastly, now Debbie would not for a minute! I was tired of her talking over the host, and I think that he was too, although he was way more polite than she was! I’ll bet that HSN is pushing Debbie’s behavior, since she has gotten worse over time. It is not cute or professional. To be honest, she has always been a bit off-putting from the start. I tried to get behind her since she is from Dallas, my home. -
I’m sure Ron White has a market for his well made shoes but I find it hard to believe that it’s at HSN. There must have been a few buyers but this venue seems to be misplaced.

It’s all about status! My SIL will only buy high end.If you can afford it good for you.For those prices I’d be happier buying 4 pair of shoes rather than one.

OK, prestige brands are by people whose names are synonymous with quality AND are well known. Who the heck is Ron whatshisname? I’m pretty up on bougie brands, but have never heard his name – not once. And I would never, ever, EVER pay the prices HSN is trying to gaslight us into paying. Nope.

What? You aren’t interested in his weekly deal drop boots. You’d save $200. He was very likable but $350 on a pair of boots!
He said he designed for royalty and first ladies. HSN, what are you thinking?
I propose that HSN sell all items $50 and less with free shipping on everything. It’s Walmart and Costco marketing but I bet HSN would be profitable. -
We need better shoe vendors on HSN.

I was curious to see what all the buzz is about, so I tuned in Tuesday night to watch Ron White hosted by Tina. I found Ron White to be quite likeable, and I was especially impressed with his knowledge of his products. While I would never spend that kind of money on fashion shoes, I enjoyed his detailed descriptions of the construction and special design elements of the shoes.

I’m sure Ron White shoes are good quality & if you have a lot of disposable income to pay that much for footwear good for you. However, I am not one of those people and it would be a cold day in you know where before I would buy a pair. I didn’t like the styles he presented and changed the channel as soon as I saw the ridiculous prices. If HSN keeps this up I will be saving a lot of money. Since the move to PA, I have been watching much less than I used to.

What is wrong with HSN? If you are trying to lose loyal customers, this will definitely do it! Who is this guy and who would pay that kind of money for his shoes? Stop underestimating your customers!!

People have been wondering why no prestige brands on HSN …

What is beyond annoying is the audacity to charge $300-500 for a pair of shoes or sneakers! They are made of leather, not some precious metal or gemstone. Unbelievable!
