I am saying my goodbyes
It has been sweet, but it is time to move on as well. I have been with HSN since the first Capodimonte and porcelain doll was sold. I even got a toot from Tootie while on the air. I have spent all nighters with a glass of wine during Iman’s programs. I have giggled through some of the funniest episodes and spent far too much money but enjoyed every moment. I remember playing Friday night games and guessing answers to the trivia questions just to get some extra points and share some girl time with other guests. I am sure some of you out there can relate. With this move up North I bid you all a fond farewell.

I too feel the future will have the policies and atmosphere of QVC will be run into HSN. I have tried to like watching QVC, but just can’t. I search on the website for a few of their items I like. So many of their hosts, IMO, are just sales people and don’t really know the products they are selling. I felt that most, but not all of HSN’s hosts, understand the products.
and have you noticed that both sell the same products, but usually under a different name? like Origami- same product on TV w/Origami sticker on it, but QVC calls it something else?My shopping at these 2 will be greatly reduced – but at least then I will save $$$.

I have recently rediscovered HSN can’t remember actually why I left it’s been so long but I am already attached to several designers it’s saddens me that I’m in is not moving to Pennsylvania I really did like her stuff and it fit me well. I am a plus size petite woman well I used to be a plus size now I’m down to an extra large and I’ve had to rebuy my entire closet due to that. Glad to no longer be a plus size but I am still only 5’1 and unfortunately a lot of the designers on HSN do not do petite! I need designers to do petite because now I have to either wear chunky shoes which is hard to fit because I have Flintstone feet lol I am an extra wide so it makes it difficult to find shoes. But I need petite clothing because everything is down to my ankles and looks like a maxi on me! I do have to say that I love Nina Leonard and her clothing and I love Anthony and his clothing. I’m glad they’re both moving to Pennsylvania. I just hope that their prices don’t go high like QVC prices are high or I won’t be able to afford anything

We appreciate your feedback. It will be passed along.

I’m kind of between a rock and a hard place with not liking and still sometimes watching both QVC and HSN. I can’t stand so many of the hosts and how fast they talk and how almost manic they act so the customer buys NOW. Apparently, the move is happening because you can tell how one host is on constantly and the set looks the same over and over. I don’t really care where HSN lives. A
nd both channels have hosts that exaggerate the product but that is their job to sell. I used to love HSN and found it before the pandemic. I liked the clothing and quality and then it seemed like stuff got to be the cheap polyester with wild patterns I don’t wear. Stuff that fit in one size always, even the same size in your closet, arrived not fitting, being extremely tight or too loose or baggy one leg, tight the other, long one leg, short the other.
I am just venting here. Many of you like certain hosts but I don’t have one I can watch for very long. And hearing “many of you are getting more than one so hurry to order” or telling us to rush and order on the website. That is their job.

I been with HSN since they were first HSC and they had good items that came with more for less. HSN has to get rid of curate and go with one who can bring them back , bring in some new good venders back because store chains all through the country are closing and we’re only going to be left with home shopping over tv.

Ive said several times that i too am not happy about this move. still think qvc is going to take over hsn in time. At least 3 of my fav hosts are leaving. I will be doing line shopping than watching. And if the customer matters ,whats wrong with letting others know your disappointed in whats happening? we all have a right to our own feelings.

Hi @jhluvsnh, we are saddened by this news and hope that you’ll check back in with us soon! Your feedback is appreciated and shows us where we can improve our customer experience. Thank you.

It seems like it’s the same items all the time. I know they must want to sell as much as they can before the move. I have some items I purchase often. I will watch & see what happens.

Why do you feel the need to announce this? Just curious.
-
I agree. This is not an airport, departures do not need to be broadcast.
-
I did chuckle about the airport observation, but she does have right to express her own opinion, especially if she has spent a lot of money over the years. The whole change is a bit upsetting to long time customers. I, for one, think they will be swallowed up by QVC. The fact, is except for checking the TSV’s, I don’t much care with all the other avenues to shop. I have been a customer since 1989. Gone are the days of relying on the novelty of watching tv presentations. Most people don’t have the time. Most people want variety and I am not seeing that on either channel, when I do check in to see. When QVC first began you could trust the presentations to be what they said they were. I have things from my early purchases on QVC that have lasted decades. I don’t trust the presentations any longer. I buy what I absolutely know won’t disappoint. I don’t try anything new.

Awww, don’t go jhluvsnh. At least give HSN North a little try… a little 🤏 bit. Maybe it won’t be so bad. 😬
-
How sweet !I can relate to all you’ve said! Been around at least 25 yrs, myself. Please don’t leave,I’m going to stick around, but not in the same way as yrs.gone past Too,many changes after all these yrs.
-
I’m glad you’re sticking around, at least for a time. I know so many hosts (10-11) are not moving North but it might work out going to PA for some. 😬. Sometimes change is good.
