We did manage to get out and see someone you would appreciate in concert.
Any guesses? Hint – He is from our parents generation.
I had the Heidi Daus Serpentina earrings on but replaced them last minute with a Mine Fines Onxy drop earring.

I enjoyed your tribute to Ella Fitzgerald. What a great lady. Fortunately we can enjoy many of her recordings and remember her spirit.

Sinus issue got the best of me during my visit with hubs. I did make a stop at Culver’s and brought vanilla frozen custard for both of us along with the Fresca salad for me. I decided to enjoy the salad when I returned home and had the dessert first with hubs. Following he wanted to be outside so we sat on the lanai for a bit before he took off in the wheelchair to wnjoy the heat and humidity. Sinus issue started a few minutes later with a coughing fit. I decided it was time to leave and one of the aides took hubs to the lobby and the RN saw me to the front door. He made me promise to phone when I returned home. But that was imporrible. The switchboard closed at 6:30 pm when the receptionist went home. I’m Ok. The A/C in the car worked like a charm. The heat and humidity is something else. No rain. Clear night. Saw a few stars twinkling on my way home. Did not see the moon.

I appreciate you posting but I also care about how you feel when you are under the weather.
I have days when i will shut down if the headache or whatever is too bad. I will always come
back and explain so if you see something strange that is not normally me you will know.

Sheba, I love the lilac flower post above. It’s very Summer and pretty.
In-laws are in the hospital. Poor hubs went from one floor to the next a few times today and the last several days checking on them. They are advanced elders and each has a different issue which is so odd as they were doing so well until recently.
Today I went to the DMV to renew my license and this particular location is stellar. Once many years ago I recall spending 8 hours at a different location. Yes, an entire work day. Crazy to make someone wait like that and it was packed as well.

Hope things are well in Sheba land and that ShebaDaus is dripped out in jewels and Poppy too. 🙂

I watched her sing it on stage she asked me to wear her mink coat I felt like a million
bucks. I have a story about Ethel Merman as well. I worked under Leonard Bernstein.
The way she belted out this song was just fantastic it’s like a different person they really
do change and I have seen this many times in great artists. 😎💕

me a lot I have done this with several icons. 😎🎈💕Thank you Ella I will never forget you.
I was a very young woman in music we were spot on. I still play her music to this day.
