I created and started this thread almost 14 years ago. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎I have been shopping and posting on HSN since the late
90’s 😎I have wonderful memories from the HSN we all know and love.

Symphony of the Dancer in Blue Weave
Life is a dance above a bottomless abyss, where one must dare to weave the chaos within into a dancing star with an unstoppable will.”

The Paper Dancer in Teal Filigree
Hope is the flower that blooms in the silence of the heart, touching the sky with fingers of light before the sun has a chance to greet the earth. -

The Elegance of Woven
Though the frame be cast in threads of softest hue, let thy courage stand as an unyielding tower against the winds of fate; for he that fears the shadow of the night shall ne’er behold the dawning of his own glory.

NATIONAL CANDIED ORANGE PEEL DAYNational Candied Orange Peel Day is observed annually on May 4th. Candied Orange Peels are a boiled, sliced and sugared treat.
Chefs and bakers like using them to add bright flavor to dishes as well as beautiful garnishes. Often used in holiday baking such as cookies and fruitcakes, they also add flavor to other foods as well. Add them to granola, tarts, and other pastries. You can also enjoy them as a snack on their own.
Dip the candied orange peel in milk or dark chocolate for a decadent candy. Not only is it delicious but it’s also a fanciful gift anyone would appreciate.

NATIONAL DAY OF REASON
National Day of Reason is observed each year on 4th of May. The observance originated in 2003 in response to the perceived unconstitutional National Day of Prayer. According to the organizers of the day, the National Day of Prayer, “violates the First Amendment of The United States Constitution because it asks federal, state and local government entities to set aside tax dollar supported time and space to engage in religious ceremonies.”

NATIONAL ORANGE JUICE DAY
On May 4th National Orange Juice Day recognizes America’s most popular breakfast drink. Orange juice holds a large margin over second-place apple juice, too. People have been waking up to a glass of orange juice for many years and enjoying the health benefits it gives them.
One 8 ounce serving of orange juice has 124 mg of vitamin C and also supplies potassium, thiamine, and folate. That little bit of sunshine in the morning can add a boost to your day. Get your orange juice fresh squeezed, bottled or in concentrated form in the freezer section. You can also enjoy orange juice blends for delicious combinations.
The United States is second only to Brazil in the production of orange juice, and they’re second only to Canda in consumption.
Another excellent way to add orange juice to your diet if you are watching your sugar intake is to include it as an ingredient in a recipe. Orange juice adds great flavor to smoothies, whole-grain waffles or french toast.

NATIONAL RENEWAL DAY
Observed annually on May 4th, National Renewal Day provides an opportunity for new beginnings.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, renewal is defined as”the state of being made new, fresh, or strong again: the state of being renewed.”
The day has been correctly placed in the spring when plants are sprouting. The day strives to reinvigorate us after a long winter. Whether we choose to refresh our souls or replace our old rugs with new, we are charged with setting to work polishing up our state of being.
Where the house might need to be infused with a little fresh air, our friendships might need some reconnection to renew them. Has the romance gone stale? Add a spark and bring some new life to it. Has the diet seen better days? Find a little color to add to it, and you might find a little pep in your step to renew yourself.
Whatever your approach to this day is, remain confident and National Renewal Day will be a success.

MELANOMA MONDAY
Melanoma Monday is a part of an awareness campaign during National Melanoma Month . Each year on the first Monday in May, we are raising awareness about skin cancer in hopes of reducing melanoma diagnosis.
Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer. On Melanoma Monday we are spreading the word about skin health, sun safety, tanning prevention, and skin cancer screenings. While melanoma and other skin cancers are not 100% preventable, there are ways to reduce your risk. We are on a mission to provide resources and information to bring awareness to melanoma, and hopefully reduce the number of melanoma diagnosis.
