Sheba, Hello! Hope your Mothers Day was wonderful! I know it was.
I cooked a little bit today. The mosquitoes are here and apparently hungry. We have never had them before the last few years. I keep a non toxic spray by me and spritz when I see one. My son has a zapper upstairs now. I always keep the house open so maybe I’ll stop for a bit.
We also have a lot of Lizards in the yard I tossed 2 towels outside to dry and they love it. They sit on the highest point and create tunnels under it so now I can’t move them. I’ll feel bad.
The 2 Doves are hanging around as well.

Stopped at the Farmer’s Market today. Definitely had sticker shock. Within the past two weeks the prices have more than doubled. Hubs keeps asking for apples. They were over $3/lb. However, Dragon Fruit remained at $2.99/lb. I have a feeling that local fruit and veggies will remain at a decent price. However, bananas were $.60/lb. I did manage to purchase the blueberry tart for hubs. He enjoyed every last morsel.

Falling asleep at the computer really did a number on me this time. I was too zonked to drive. This taught me a huge lesson. Better to shut down the computer early. There is another day to read whatever.

There was a 51% chance for rain around 4 pm. The clouds were huge and they were dark. Both East and West had signs for something. That something never materialized. Next chance is Saturday and Sunday. Both have a 55% chance for rain and thunderstorms. Monday looks like the better of all days with 85%. However, too often, these seem to fizzle out. So we shall see.

Hubs had a new blanket on his bed tonight. Unfortunately, it wasn'[t his. Luckily I have pictures of the one that is supposed to be on his bed. I hope I can get to the Rehab early tomorrow so I can speak with the new Social Worker. Seems to be a huge turnorver again. Not as many aides or RNs. Thankfully, the one I like is hanging in there. There is an ad for a cook. All the person needs is a background in cooking like at a fast food restaurant. I surmise there is no nutritionist on duty. T’hat’s a huge question. Cannot wait until I find someone to redo the bathrooms. Notice I pluralized it this time. I have decided if the price is right to redo the master as well. Getting rid of the desk could open the space more and would give hubs more room for the wheelchair. It’s just a thought, but could be doable.

Oz is cool tonight and feels great but Friday and the weekend will be very warm and than
