NATIONAL MAKE A FRIEND DAY

Always observed on February 11th, National Make A Friend Day is a fantastic opportunity to meet someone new and make a new friendship.

Friends serve a vital role in everyone’s lives. They are one of life’s most valuable assets. New friends can broaden our horizons by helping us to see new perspectives, challenging us to try something different, or connecting us to opportunities. Meeting new people can help sharpen our social skills and keep us from becoming lonely.

While friends often share common backgrounds or experiences, they certainly don’t have to have everything in common. One of the simplest ways to make new friends is to explore your interests by taking a class or joining a club.

Most people don’t become friends the first time they meet. Usually, people become friends after meeting a few times. Whether it’s the same coffee shop at 8:00 AM, the same gym class, or the same grocery store when you see someone consistently, it’s easy to strike a conversation to form a friendship.

NATIONAL SHUT-IN VISITATION DAY

National Shut-In Visitation Day on February 11th serves as a reminder to bring some cheerful company to people who are unable to leave their homes. Visiting a person who is shut-in makes a positive difference in that person’s life.

I was stuck home today because hubs was working on the car. I could have taken a 2nd car but I almost never drive these days so didn’t want to but if needed I’ll do it tomorrow.

Good Evening thank you for the prayers. 😎💕My niece has been dealing with this problem
since she was very young. My brother never panics my SIL never leaves her side.
All they ask for are prayers and they were answered again soon she is back in College
and on the ski slopes. Niece was cool as a cumber throughout her ordeal. 💕😎

My Cable tier had a problem and it is one and done totally fixed. I am surprised nothing
went out during the storm.

Brother and family in GA are doing alright everyone pitches in and helps. 💕

Good afternoon from the sunny ‘burgh – yes, I said sunny!🌞 Something new and different. It feels like 70. Almost got the shorts out to wear with boots, LOL!

Watching the men’s skating in between a little cleaning. Hope your cable gets fixed promptly, it’s always something. Things were a lot easier with five channels and one antenna.🤣

Wow, I hope your niece will be fine. She is too young to be in ICU that long. I will say a prayer.🙏 I’m also praying all is well with your SIL and the family.
