Good afternoon to you. Hope you enjoyed the holiday.🎇 Ended up doing a last minute get together with two couples. No one wanted to cook so we met at a restaurant for dinner and came back to my house to have a few drinks on the deck. Like your area, we could see some fireworks from the neighborhood. It was a very nice evening.

Today is hot, hot, hot and more humid, tomorrow mid 90s.🔥🔥🔥 I had to laugh, Fairbanks is as warm as Honolulu, crazy! Like Taci, I thought you meant Red Rock Canyon. I was there many, many years ago and have a lot of nice pictures.

My heart breaks for those young girls in Texas.😪 I’m getting tired of saying “why?” We had something similar very close to my home a few weeks back when we had all the flood warnings. Thank God all the girls were rescued.

So glad Mrs. Dolittle took care of her flock. They are grateful. Here’s to a calmer evening, big hugs to you and Mr. Poppy.🤗💖

I am finally over whatever it was. No more ordering out for awhile. Not sure if it was food poisoning or a virus. Just thankful it wasn’t a sulfite thing.

I am now getting ready to jump into a shower. I will be making a stop at the Farmer’s Market. They advertised a homemade watermelon drink on ice that is perfect for today. I did go outside. There is absolutely no air. Very hot and humid and the A/C is on. No way can I stay outside for any length of time. Car needs gas, and will do that tomorrow. Cannot wait to see hubby. Will just purchase what I need for today and tomorrow. Do the rest of the shopping during the week. I just hope I can get to the Rehab before the lightning show and the burst of thunder.

Terrible about the campers in Texas. I am just beside myself. I feel for the camp as well as the parents. At the same time, I am also hoping that xango and her husband are OK.

Hope you had a great 4th. There were fireworks on both sides of the lake and come in front of our home. I watched a few and then turned the lights out. Not as big as in the past, but OK. .

I also wonder about Poppy and the car. Do you only take him out when he needs to see the vet or go for the hair cut? If that is the case, start taking him for small rides like around the block. Get out after a few minutes and walk a bit. That could help his anxiety.

I know your girls have pets. What about your son???

Cute about the kitties. They must have been starved. They are probably back to their spot and curled up. Cannot wait to have one of my own.

Heavy heart break in Texas tonight.

State Officials have confirmed 13 of the girls from Camp Mystic have passed away. Ages 7-10 years old . There are at least 20 remaining unaccounted for and still missing from this tragic flood. Our deepest condolences to the families of those lost.

Good morning in S. California. I am taking a much needed break from the sadness of
the rains in Texas and the people affected. I feel really bad for the families of the children.

I don’t think I could handle this kind of tragedy I am praying for all affected.

On another note my family was in Red Rock last night watching Sting do his thing. 🎈😎
I have been there many times and watch some great shows. The rock are really red.

Good day on the Gulf Coast of Florida. 🎈😎 OZ is having some light rain and cloudy. 😎
I had three hungry cats show up at my door this morning hubs and I was going back
and forth. We had loud fireworks in our area I know they were scared. I wanted at the
door looking out for them so I figured they would come this morning and they did.
We feed them real good. 💕🎈

The kids were even calling home to check on them. Oh each and every child has a pet of
their own. LOL! 🎈💕😎

Oodie I hope you are feeling better today. I am glad they found what was making you and
everyone else ill. I think you know what to bring to clean hubs room. 😎

Please take it easy today and do what you can. Oodie drink lots of water and I know you
know that. 😎🎈
