Still a bit weak, but better. I am visiting hubby who looks amazing. He was looking for something to eat When I arrived. I did not bring any food. Just pepto tablets, purified water and Smart Water.
His dinner that normally arrives between 5 pm and 5:30 pm didn’t show until 6pm. And you wonder why I bring food.

My hair looks good. Great to get it done. I stopped at the Asian takeout and picked up soup and a main dish. Will have leftovers for dinner.

Poppy not leaving your side. Maybe that will teach you not to leave him behind next time you go gajjavanting.(LOL).

Good Evening I was LOL at your comment about Poppy. I think Poppy knew I was leaving
before I did. The days leading to us leaving he kept look at me strange like I know what
you are going to do. I hate leaving him but I never ever leave him alone. 🎈😎💕

Poppy love the kids as much as he do me. 💕Everyone spoils him and I love it.

I do miss him and our son does FaceTime and I can see and talk to him. The Girls when
home do the same thing.

The flowers in the gardens are so beautiful I had several comments from people passing
my home and as well as the neighbors on how beautiful they look. I think the all the Spring
Rain had a hand in that. 💕😎 This weekend will be warmer so I will water them.
Come next week we have more rain and I am fine with that.

Oodie I am glad you had some pampering today you deserve it. 😎💕🎈I know you look
pretty. Hubs was glad to see I am sure I know he wished you had brought some food. So
sorry he cannot eat good food in that facility. Sheesh!

We watched Field of Dreams with our son who was not a gleam in my eyes when this
movie was made. I love it and Kevin Costner is still hot. 😎 Poppy had his treats and
watched the movie as well. The night is cool and the cats are eating and seem to be
happy no rain or cold or snow to deal with. I love nights like this. 😎🎈💕

Tomorrow will be the last day of school for most in Florida. Temp is now over 90 degrees and some rain is expected in three hours or so. More tomorrow and Saturday. We sure could use it.
Feeling better, though, now it’s an on and off thing. Will not see hubby today but will try tomorrow. Have an appointment for the hair thing tomorrow which should make me feel better. This is the longest reaction I have ever had and hope never to have another one. Chicken broth has been a delight. Today I added carrots, bok choy, and chicken to the mix. So far so good. Will have enough for tomorrow to heat and put into the Thermos. Spoke with the receptionist and she will give our favorite aide a message for hubby. He has a phone in his room which is over the light fixture. He cannot get to it because it is high up. Cannot believe that after all these months the aides and nurses have not tried to connect it. I do not dare bring his cell. It will be another thing that could be stolen or tossed into the garbage.

I bet your kids would have loved to join you on your return to Oz. Next time stay longer and enjoy the area even more. Bet Poppy would love meeting his cousins and enjoy a good romp.

Thanx for posting the windmill. It’s cute. I don’t know if you enjoy incense. If you do there is a business in Amazon that carries what they call Backflow Incense Burners. These are cute and it comes with a cone that sits on top of the figurines. When lighted it looks like water cascading downward. I gave in and bought one and then added another. Great for entertaining. The cones come with it and are in different colors. Each one has a different scent.

Got a call this morning from friends about a last minute get together for dinner so it was nice, short and sweet. Right now I feel like a beach ball.😝 Saw the rabbits playing with each other in my yard.🐇🐇 One kept hopping over the other, too cute. Maybe that was a mating ritual and I’ll see a bunch of babies in a month, lol!😂

I am better, though I had another bout when trying to eat a salad. Back to chicken broth and some noodles. Who knew that the homemade food contained sulfites. I never had to read the labels. No preservatives was the Amish way. I haven’t seen hubs in three days. Left a message with the receptionist. Hoping the aides or nurses pass the message.

Before I forget. Left another message for you last night. Oops, I mean early this morning.

Just saw something on Amazon that would make a great gift for Father’s Day. It’s a handmade windmill with musical instruments. The one I like is a drummer. Supposedly, when the wind hits, it plays. Definitely will purchase for hubby.’ Guess I’m feeling Ok. Back to shopping. (LOL)

Oz have rain on the way we are a cool 64 degrees as I type this note to you. I am fine
with that as I sometimes say wait until it warms up. I will long for such a cool beautiful night.

I know your husband will love this. 💕😎🎈 I miss our children and I am spending with our
son before he returns. I have to say he has been a busy young man. LOL!

I did see my daughters animals two have a cat and one a dog and even my niece have
a niece a dog. My niece was on vacation in New York City and she took her dog with here
and went to Central Park West and sent pictures. I wish I could do that with Poppy. 😎💕
Niece is a certified teacher GA so she is wrapping up the school year. This is my sister in
Colorado daughter plus she has family from her other side of the family there. I could have
stayed a month or more and felt no pain. LOL!

Hubby and I had a wonderful visit yesterday. I had to check my bags at the Nurse’s Station. There was no food. Hubby’s morale was really down and I perked him up. There is much we can do and I showed him pictures of other places that may be able to help. And, if not, at least we tried. To have physical therapy one day per week does not cut it with me. We will need to relocate in order to take advantage of other things that may or may not be the answer. As of now I’m trying to deal with “Montezuma’s Revenge.” I do not think this has anything to do with Friday’s episode with the Unit Mgr/Head Nurse. I think this is a sulfite/sulfate thing. I tried a new bread from the Farmer’s Market. Did not read the label. I will do so shortly. It’s the only new thing I added. Had something similar yesterday morning but on a smaller scale. Two things are actually helping. One is Gosling’s Diet Ginger ale and the other is what xango recommended. That’s the Smart Water. And now I will have some chicken soup broth. Not sure if I will return to the rehab tomorrow. But, I did leave word with the Receptionist and they could tell hubby. I had a similar episode many years ago and gave the code which he will understand. I am OK now. Just very weak.

I assume you are back in Oz. So glad that you had the opportunity to visit with the girls, your brother and SIL. I am sure Poppy was glad to see both of you. Take care and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Good Evening I just got home this evening and we drove. Very nice drive no humidity
and we had a cool breeze. 😎💕💕💕

So nice to see all of our daughters. 💕🎈I also have a sister there she got transferred
from Colorado. Sis have lived there for almost 20 years. Very beautiful area.

I intend to go back and go to Colorado. I will tell you about a wonderful Irishmen who is
a family member on the Minnesota Branch of the family. I tell he was surround by love
and family very feisty gentle and a part of our lives will be missed forever. 🎈💕

I am tired tonight but I will post tomorrow and I am home safe and sound even hubs is
tired. Our Son is still here and will stay another week and I am so pleased about that. 💕

Poppy lost it when I can in the door it’s like he was not sure it was me and when he did
realize it was me he lost it and so did I. 💕All the cats were waiting for me as if they knew
and I feed each and everyone. 💕Every night I looked on hubby app for our security and I
could see all the animals and made sure son was feeding them he was.

Oodie I am concerned about your issues with your hubby I think it is time to move to something else. I am sure this a conversation between you and him and what is best for
both of you. I will write more tomorrow. I hope you are feeling better. 💕

I am feeling better and will see hubby today. It is close to 1 am. Need to do some laundry and to add plants to the new containers. It has been very hot here with temps in the 90s. We expect some showers either Thursday or Friday and Saturday. The culprit was not only the bread but also the potato salad. Funny, the potato salad never affected me. But, the combination of the two was just enough to put things into a tail spin. I did run out of the Smart Water and ordered from Walmart. That and a few other things were delivered this morning.

There is a rehab about 20 miles North of us. This place is huge and looks more like a hospital than a place to recoup. Part of their program is aquatic along with exercise. There was a patient at the Rehab about a year ago who couldn’t walk or stand. He mentioned this place and I looked it up. A 5-star rating. In order to take advantage we will need to move about 5-10 miles North which is doable. Six months ago I would not have thought about it since getting there you need to go over a bridge. This bridge is packed and I wondered how an ambulance would get to the hospital let alone to our home if one of us became ill. The answer is they are now building there own hospital which could be better than the one we use. There are also new builds in this area that are in our price range. It is an up and coming community. Yet. I am still
questioning if this would be a good move. An area that I have been watching for many years has finally been sold. The builder is well known and this, also, will be like a city or better yet, a small town. I am waiting on the prices. However, there may be a bit of a drawback in that it is not far from the beaches. This could pose a problem during the hurricane season. Then again, it could be over our price range. I will know in a few weeks one way or the other. Meanwhile I may take a ride to look at the new builds in the other town. Same builder.

I forgot to ask if you met your daughter’s pooch.

Hopefully you are a better packer with your travels than I am.
I worry a bit about the airports, and weather and if I brought the right clothes or forgot something. Mainly because we don’t check bags. Once I’m there all is good. 🙂

Sheba, welcome home! Sounds like your visits were fun, and glad you made it safely home. Your family sounds awesome and supportive. Love those large homes. We need to move yah still. Happy to hear your SIL is doing well. It makes me happy for her family.
Sorry about your relative that passed. I know what you mean about light going out.
My hydrangeas finally are blooming. It’s just 2 potted plants. They are in their 3rd spot in 2 years. I dug them out of the ground and moved them because they weren’t doing well. Finally….

Good evening all is good here in Atlanta. 🌹😎✨My SIL made a seafood meal with
Crab Legs and Fish with the sides and it was fantastic. I am telling you she looks well.

I did tell her to lay down when her stomach hurts. So she is taking it easy. The family
have a huge 5 bedroom, family room and living room you can fit a small city in.

I have not been to this new house due to Covid and me fighting cancer. ✨🌹

I had so many houses to visit I am loving being with our three daughters and hubby is
having a ball. I will be back on Kansas Soil soon. 🌹✨😎 We needed this. I feel so much
better making this unexpected trip. Our son is watching Poppy and feeding the cats.
Son also have a lot of friends so he is not lonely then he will return back to Atlanta area
next week. We will have time together. 😎 Very beautiful here all green and clean.

I will tell more in the coming days. I had to see for myself how things were going.

Happy Memorial Day to you wherever you are.🙌 It is a special holiday for our family as my uncle, mom’s brother, died in WWII. We also have The Wall That Heals in our area from last Thursday through today. I did see that years ago in DC.

Beautiful day so relaxing and doing a lot of nothing.🌞 Spent the afternoon/evening yesterday at a friend’s house for a small get together. Good company, food and drinks.🍔🌭🥤 Having hoagies and potato salad today.
