Sheba, Hope the party was fun and your necklace was stunning! I mentioned the strong neck because I had a silver collar necklace that was gorgeous and I added a pendant to it. It always caused me neck pain. Sold it off for that reason. I’m in my easy peasy days.

The New Year started off with sad news for the US. Very sad for those who lost loved ones.

I am so sorry your niece is around all that confusion and sorrow. I know she will be safe.
I do like waking up to this kind of news hubs turned the TV on and all you could do was
watch and listen I was stunned.

I know her parents are checking up on her prayers for all affected.

Oz is frozen and heading to the to sub zero temps next week. I worry about the pipes.
Hey kids made back to GA. safe and we all made the right decision they left Monday night. 💕🎈

Good evening I love how you spent New Year’s Eve. 💕I only walked one door from my
house to give New Year’s Cheer and did not stay long. I wrote yesterday things happen
on New Year’s Eve very sad about New Orleans part of my family is from there. So that
City is special to me.

I have a slight cold from all the extreme cold we are having we will be in the minus next
week. I am getting all things ready for it the weatherman will not stop talking about it.

Blessings for 2025 dear friend. 😘🎈💕 I am leaving a few Christmas things up too. I love the look and feel.

Hello Sheba 🌹. I hope you had a good celebration with your hubby.
It’s unfortunate that we had to wake up to such a devastating news. I don’t recognize America anymore.
Today we were in the mid 70’s and for the next few days the evenings will be in the low 40’s.

Yesterday we ordered dinner for yesterday and enough for lunch for today. We went to pick it up early, just before the Sun going down. As we approached the house people in the community already had started the fireworks. It wasn’t even night yet, it was still a little light out. The fireworks here lasted untill 1 AM.

It’s a lazy day here, no cooking. I do need to make some bread tomorrow. And hubby has been off work since the 24 th of December goes back to work tomorrow and Friday.

I am considering of leaving the Christmas decorations inside the house up for January. Not all of them but most, flameless candles and music boxes that I enjoy along with other items.

Happy New Year, what a way to start the first day of 2025.😥 Just too much to handle. My great niece goes to the University of Georgia, plays in the band and is in New Orleans right now for the Sugar Bowl. Prayers for all the victims.🙏

Hubs and I went out for an early dinner yesterday then came back home and watched football and hockey with our wine and shrimp.🥂🍤 Glad you enjoyed yourself at the neighbor’s. This is the first year we didn’t hear firecrackers after midnight.🧨🎆

Temps in the 30s today, 20s by Friday and will stay there for almost two weeks.🥶 Winter has landed! Sending lots of love and hugs to you and your family.🤗💖
