Hello Sheba 🌹. I hope you had a good celebration with your hubby.
It’s unfortunate that we had to wake up to such a devastating news. I don’t recognize America anymore.
Today we were in the mid 70’s and for the next few days the evenings will be in the low 40’s.

Yesterday we ordered dinner for yesterday and enough for lunch for today. We went to pick it up early, just before the Sun going down. As we approached the house people in the community already had started the fireworks. It wasn’t even night yet, it was still a little light out. The fireworks here lasted untill 1 AM.

It’s a lazy day here, no cooking. I do need to make some bread tomorrow. And hubby has been off work since the 24 th of December goes back to work tomorrow and Friday.

I am considering of leaving the Christmas decorations inside the house up for January. Not all of them but most, flameless candles and music boxes that I enjoy along with other items.

Happy New Year, what a way to start the first day of 2025.😥 Just too much to handle. My great niece goes to the University of Georgia, plays in the band and is in New Orleans right now for the Sugar Bowl. Prayers for all the victims.🙏

Hubs and I went out for an early dinner yesterday then came back home and watched football and hockey with our wine and shrimp.🥂🍤 Glad you enjoyed yourself at the neighbor’s. This is the first year we didn’t hear firecrackers after midnight.🧨🎆

Temps in the 30s today, 20s by Friday and will stay there for almost two weeks.🥶 Winter has landed! Sending lots of love and hugs to you and your family.🤗💖
