Conversation 27
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 27 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 10 years ago.😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

NATIONAL CRANBERRY RELISH DAY
Another seasonal holiday staple graces the table each year and National Cranberry Relish Day makes sure you’re prepared. On November 22nd make sure you’re stocked and ready. Get tasting the many recipes out there and pick your favorite one!
Believed to have originated in the New England States during the early 1900s, cranberry relish is a traditional part of many families’ Thanksgiving dinner.
Each Thanksgiving, Susan Stamberg provides National Public Radio listeners with her mother-in-law’s recipe for cranberry relish sauce. The American radio journalist, an American radio journalist, and Special Correspondent for NPR and guest host for Weekend Edition Saturday has been doing this since 1971. What’s unusual about the special recipe, known as Mama Stamberg’s Cranberry Relish, is that horseradish is one of its principal ingredients. Craig Claiborne originally published the recipe in his food column in 1959.
Numerous cranberry relish recipes grace cookbooks and blogs across the internet. The bright and sweet flavors are enhanced by ingredients like apples, oranges, and pineapple. You can make them spicy or nutty, too. Or, you might offer more than one style and use the leftovers for great sandwiches. But there’s more than one way to slice this cranberry dish.

Sheba, One of your favorites, was here today. Hope you enjoyed the shows. Watched a bit in the afternoon but had a busy day here. The Necklace turning into a ring and earrings with dual sides is so creative. Heidi is awesome!
The CL Prestige box is wonderful for my needs. Wow, so happy I bought it. Streamlined and honed down my items. That is a work in process though much much better now.
Stock photo looked good. There are so many Castles all over. The largest Castle is Malbrook, located in Poland. We never heard of it until this trip.
Hope your Thanksgiving plans are going well. Are your kids coming home? I know it might be hard for them with their careers. The extra’s that hubs and son want are only ice cream. I hope I remember to buy it. I never do because they eat it up. 🙂
How is your relative doing? Hope she is comfortable. -
Oodie, Sorry hubs fell out of bed. Let us know how he is doing after his x rays.
Your Concord information was interesting. I think my parents met there or some type of place like it. The name was familiar. You sure had lots of fun at all these places.
Have you received your CL Prestige box yet? Mine arrived yesterday and it is working well for me.
You probably know many of the markets sell Turkeys so if you don’t want to cook one for hubby, you might see if your wonderful market sells them. -
I went to bed early only to receive a phone call telling me hubby fell out of bed. I tried to tell t he nurse that he was probably trying to get to the closet for something warm. He probably slipped because his legs wouldn’t work for him and he isn’t getting the therapy he needs. For some reason he doesn’t use the buzzer. To be on the safe side they are sending him to the hospital for x-rays. I am surprised that they do not keep a closer eye on their patients. Especially, this one who has tried several times to get to the closet for something warm. Thankfully, I have been there along with the aide when this occurred. I will update this concern later today when I see him.
I see you haven’t posted and I hope that everything is Ok with your family. I am praying for better days. Sending hugs your way. Take care.

Today was our garbage and recyclables. Unable to see hubby today. My lower back and feet are giving me problems. I am doing stretch exercises which seems to be helping. I hope I will be able to see hubby tomorrow. I hate not showing up. It makes his day too long and so boring. He is tired of game shows which his roommate loves.
It is cold here also. I have the heat on just to get the chill out. Temp today never got above 64. I know, to you it would feel spring like. But to the Floridians this is a winter chill. However, by Sunday we will be roasting in the 70s. For now it will keep those Hurricanes out of sight.
I was about to purchase stuffing for next week and decided to read the labels. Lo and behold I was totally surprised when one of the many ingredients was high frutose corn syrup. That’s a huge no no for people with sulfate problems. Then another ingredient was molasses. This year I will try natural stuffing with no preservatives. No wonder my face always swelled. Goes to show that one must read the labels.
Back to the kitchen to make some soup. Have a great evening and try to stay warm.
