Good evening I am glad he is doing better and it would do him good to see something
different he can read his books they are monitoring him. Glad he has an appetite.

Please get some rest. I have several things going on in the family my SIL is on a six month
journey of chemo and Wednesday is the day she goes. We don’t know anything we are
going one day at time.

Enjoy some tea and relax.

I am home. Hubby looks better and is eating well. He is on oxygen and the RN mentions that it is on slightly. Not sure if this is permanent, though he did fine with dinner without it. There are two other men in the room. No TV. He had more food on the tray than what he gets in rehab. I told him to ask for seconds if he was still hungry. Compliments again to the chef at the hospital.

Sheba, Your collection of Heidi sounds amazing. The pictures you’ve shared have been so fun!
Hope more people come back to the Heidi thread. It’s fun to see what people like from her Collections. My cream colored Colleen Prestige bracelet box arrives tomorrow. I just need things organized. Hubs put something in the oven for dinner. It took him a while to find a sheet pan.
Yah, there’s about 5. It smells good though.

Hubby is still in the hospital and I will be leaving shortly to visit. Visiting hours are only to 7 pm and will be home shortly thereafter. He was in Emergency until 5 am yesterday when he was moved to ICU. I did not see him yesterday. Not only was I pooped, but something I made did not agree with me and so Pepto became my friend. He was moved from ICU yesterday afternoon to a room. He is there today. The RN felt that he would probably be there until either tomorrow or Tuesday. Tomorrow, I will make a stop at Lowes for a new microwave. Mine stopped working yesterday. I did my homework and found that the one I wanted is on sale. So will take care of that and then go on to the hospital or rehab whatever the case will be.

I never enjoyed baking and cooking so much. I see the difference in the pans and they are like
day and night. Extremely easy to clean. Best of all he has the amount in each and every pot. I didn’t need to remeasure. I should have done this sooner. Oh well, as the saying goes, “better late than never.” I will write more later. I know you are missing the kids. I’m sure they wished they could have stayed longer as well. I hope your sister-in-law was able to enjoy some part of the holiday. I am also hoping her cancer was caught in time. I am praying for her recovery.

So sorry for your loss and the dear loss to your friend. This is not an easy road, especially during the holidays. I know you will do what you can. The road is not easy for you either. Take each day as it comes and try to be there when you can.
