National Sock Day on December 4th recognizes the rarest of all lasting unities, the marriage of matched socks. When they find each other, wash after wash, dry after to dry, it’s time to celebrate!

National Cookie Day on December 4th serves up a sweet treat. Bakers across the country warm up the ovens for holiday baking, and we enjoy giving tins of cookies to friends and family all season long.

Funny you should ask about my collections. As gold started to go up in price I gravitated to sterling silver. I didn’t start following Heidi Daus until a few years ago. When she started with HSN I found her jewelry to be too ostentatious for me, but her artistry intrigued me. My mom would have loved her jewelry. Mom loved anything big and bright. But she passed before Heidi was on HSN. The sterling and others I have purchased over the years through HSN and other web sites. Today I am scaling back and only purchase when the price is right or it’s something I really like and would cry if it would sell out. As for the Prestige boxes. I purchased one to try in the beginning. A year later I needed a sterling bracelet and when I reached into the box I was amazed that all my pieces were looking brand new. I really think you will enjoy these boxes and if you are like me, you will purchase another large one. I will be using this one for the costume jewelry. I still have pieces from my mom that I like to wear from time to time.

My neighbor who is next door is a RN and she checks on me two or three times a week. Nice person. I do not lose complete consciousness when I pass out. This time I was at the computer and was able to get to the bed and recline until it past. The phone is next to me at the computer and when I was able, contacted my physician. Right away he said it was food poisoning and if it continued he would meet me at the ER.. Today I am OK as if nothing happened. From what I heard, he reported everything to the FDA . It could also be a sulfite thing. I found something that could be a culprit in the stuffing I purchased which wasn’t Pepperidge. I wanted to try something organic and when I checked online there were no sulfites in the ingredients. Consequently when I happened to see this at a warehouse I reached for it without looking at the label. This one, no way, was organic, even though it said so on the package. Never assume. Another lesson learned, the hard way.

Thanks for your post about the Colleen Lopez Prestige Boxes. You must have a lot of them if you started purchasing them way back when they 1st were sold. The Turquoise color looked so pretty and suited well to FL. The 3-Layer box in Ivory arrived and I love it! I am waiting for the 6 slot watch/bracelet box to arrive in the matching Ivory. Usually I am a color person but for some reason the Ivory color appealed to me. I love the light interior. It’s easier to see everything.
You must have an awesome collection of jewelry. It is a mix of collections or mainly Heidi Daus?

Sheba, yes, that is true. Those were the (old’n) days when some women in my work place would state that all women needed to have their nails manicured if they wanted to be successful. I say if you want to work to give someone else all your hard earned go for it 🙂 As it turns out, these were not the most successful women. Gotta follow your instincts about people and so forth.

Good Evening you need a break this is too much. Please tell me you have one of those
monitors that if something happens you just push a button. I say that because you are
alone until hubs comes home.

Take it easy one step at a time. I am glad hubby is doing better. I wish he could leave the
hospital and go straight home.
