Conversation 27
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 27 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 10 years ago.😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Sheba, you are welcome and I am happy to be supportive any day. You have gone the long road of 5 years and hope you are able to get off the medication. Your family is supportive and kind which is so nice to hear. Glad you had a nice luncheon with your neighbor friend. It’s nice to be around positive people who are relatable and fun.
Will be thinking about your SIL and hope she responds well to all the meds.
Got my hair colored and cut today. One of the customers was 94 years old and going strong.
Have a warm evening and maybe the cats will need a hot plate soon. -
Hi in Oz. Started the day off with computer problems so left the house and went to the grocery store. I will probably start looking for a new one since mine is old. Just hate learning a new system, transferring things, teaching hubs what to do, ugh!😣
Good luck with winterizing for the kitties. I used to order Jake’s food and meds from Chewy and they are the best.😊 When Jake died and I called them to cancel his meds they sent me a dozen roses.🌹 I was shocked – what a nice touch and kind consideration for customers.
I have a bell at home and I will be ringing it here in your honor.🔔 And I hope to do the same for your SIL.🙏
We have wind chills in the teens today, a little warmer by the weekend. Sending fireside hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

I just got word that hubby is being transferred either tonight or tomorrow to rehab. I am not happy about the rehab but I did do my homework and found that it is one of the best in the area. At least now I can continue to make arrangements for the homecoming when it happens. I will not be seeing hubby tonight. The walk from the parking garage to the main entrance of the hospital is not good. Depending upon where your car is parked is the length of the walk. If you are on the same floor as the walkway then the elevator will be of no use. The walkway is a bridge between the main entrance and the parking level. Once inside there is a short distance to the info person to inform them of the visit and to where you will be going. They slap you with an ID thing with the room number. From there it is a trip and when I say trip, it is a long long walk to the elevators. From the elevators, in this case, was a relatively short distance to hubby’s room. There is no longer any valet service, so someone with a disability would really have a difficult time going from garage to wherever. With my back pain and legs I sat for a few minutes in the lobby and then went to the desk for the so called bracelet. Since the cafeteria was on the way, I would pick up food and water and go out a different way which brought me to the elevators. I mentioned this to our physician and he said no valet because they were trying to cut corners. I wonder sometimes how many people have decided not to visit their loved ones for this reason. I have another Sherpa blanket (luckily I purchased 2) in the car and a new one in the trunk. If he arrives tonight I will try to drive there if it isn’t too late. The Rehab now is not in a good neighborhood. Tomorrow, our favorite aide is on, but not on this weekend. He will work next week Monday and Tuesday and return Friday for the weekend which is through Monday.
I am glad that your SIL was able to do the chemo. How often she will need the chemo may determine how her body will accept the medication. I have heard that many patients who found it difficult to tolerate the chemo tried the medical marijuana and it seemed to help after the dosage. It was really nice that your daughter was able to be with her during the entire process. Her being there makes the process run smoothly. There are other medications that go along with this. It will help her to fight off the tumors and to make those present become smaller and eventually disappear. The outcome also depends upon her ability to fight the disease and also her attitude. Friends, family, children all come into play. She will need to laugh more. Take each day as it comes and then some.
I hope your husband can be with you when you ring that bell next week. Then you both can really celebrate following the appointment.
Our temps today are good. Nighttime will be in the 50s. Another cold front tomorrow and then the weekend looks really promising with temps back in the 70s during the day and 60s at night. On another note, I hope the kitties enjoy their shed with the hay. You may also find a quilt for them to go under when it’s really cold.

I am glad you like the food pics they just look so good. LOL!I appreciated your post from yesterday this has been a journey a very lonely one.
Taci when I walked into the Medical Center it was cold and dark I did not know what to expect.
I said my prayers and I did what I had to do. My family has been very supportive. I have
my SIL going on her journey which is much harder than mine I hate cancer.Taci my luncheon the other day was with my neighbor the professor who is a cancer survivor
too I did have a salad along with a light Pasta. We talked and I really enjoyed my time just
to relax a bit.Oz is 17 right as I am typing this note to you. 💕😎I put on a good wool coat and took Poppy
out I needed to feel the sun on my face as well as the cold wind. 💕This month I will see
all my team and then I will find out if I can get off some of the medicine I am on.Oodie was right about new treatment for this type of cancer that my SIL has. Trust when I say
she has the very best medical care available. Taci out daughter was with her all day as she

Good morning on the Gulf Coast of Florida. 😎🎈😘Oodie we are 17 degrees as I type
this note to you. 💕I want to say a genuine thank you for all your support for all these years you have helped
me through some tough times. I appreciated your note from yesterday. I was so overwhelmed
this week I did not know what I was going to do. My friend the professor who is a breast cancer
survivor herself took me to lunch the previous day to get things off my mind. 😎The merry month of December will be a busy one for me. I am getting all things health
one and done. My SIL made it through the Chemo Treatments it was a long grueling day.
Our daughter was by her side the entire time and she was checking on me as well. 💕As you know OZ is frozen I have to keep a check on the cat food. The food is freezing and
is hard for the cats to chew. So I put dry food out and I go and stir it up to keep from freezing.
The water is solid ice I had a Chewy delivery this morning it is straw so we are working again
on building new shelter for the outdoors cats. 💕Oodie how is your husband doing today? I hope he is getting better. Oodie take some time
for you and I am glad you are having fun with WP. 😎💕Wishing you a warm and wonderful Thursday. 🎈
