NATIONAL SLIME DAY

December 7 is National Slime Day at National Day Calendar and things are about to get slippery for the rest of the day. Today’s National Day celebrates the slimy, slippery, and squishy pop culture goo that has been engaging kids (and adults) in play since the 1970s.

On December 7th, National Illinois Day recognizes the Land of Lincoln, home to the Windy City, and fertile prairies.

Good morning I am about to start the thread for today and so glad I read your post.
Oodie it is a good idea not to see him if you are sick with a stomach bug. I know it’s
annoying but you don’t want to spread it to him. I think that is a long time for him
to be in the hospital but I’d rather be safe and sure.

Oodie I think you have a lot of stress going on and that can wreck havoc on your body.
I think it’s going on two years now. I commend you for all you do for your homes and husband.
I would take what your doctor ordered and perhaps have some soup and sit for a minute.

I had a feeling something was up if it were really bad you would have posted.
Please let me know how you are doing today and do it when you have the time.😎🎈

The phone call last night from case management turned out to be a fluke. Hubby was not transferred. He is still on meds and the last dose is tonight. I am not sure at this point when he will return to rehab. Usually it is within 24 hours following the last dose, but the RN on duty said they may want to keep him an extra 2 days to make sure he is OK., It also depends upon the insurance as well. He is doing good after the episode last week. Meanwhile, I have not seen hubby in two days. Looks like I have a case of stomach flu which is awful. I did contact the doctor and he prescribed over-the-counter medication. I hope to be able to see hubby sometime today, though I will see how I feel before venturing.

Sheba, glad you will treat yourself. It will calm the nerves.

Mopped some floors and did some laundry today.

The beverage pictures are so awesome. Some people are so creative to think of all the decorations.

Good evening I feel like something the cats brought in. I have been going in and out
in very cold temps and now I have a bit of the sniffles.

No worries I am about to get up under the covers. I sometimes sit on the couch and let
Poppy warm my feet. LOL! Poppy is tired too.

Hubby is watching the news and will soon be up we are cold in OZ.

Another cold day with another dusting of snow.🥶🌨 So I stayed inside and did some cleaning. Having pizza for dinner.🍕

Going up to mom’s tomorrow and we’ll probably talk about where we want to eat for Christmas. For years we always went to dinner on Christmas eve but the last couple years we went to church in the morning and then out for brunch/lunch. All up to mom and the weather forecast.

I see the Chiefs play Sunday night so I know I will get to see the game.🏈 No conflicts with Pittsburgh on TV, yay!

Hope the kitties are okay. You and Poppy snuggle under a blanket, hugs.🤗💖
