I know I would miss my husband after all this time being in a rehab.
I don’t like you being alone so much.

I hear you when you say women should do it for themselves when the time comes.
My husband is a jack of all trade and have taught me well. I have five brothers and a son.
My husband taught our three daughters how to drive and our kids are very smart and can
take care of themselves. 💕😎 Great job getting good roofers.

I am on Cat Patrol so far I have feed three and I was lucky wet cat food was on sale today. 😎
I mix it with the dry food and the cats all love it. I make sure they have fresh water.

All my cats are male one is solid black, black and white very beautiful and a nice dark gray
cat. I have earned their trust and I had to teach them some tricks. They know to take turns
when it comes to feeding. If a Racoon comes I shoot it with my pistol with blanks. LOL!
I will not hurt a critter unless…I will leave it at that.

Oodie enjoy a good book or game. I am going to watch Murder My Sweet on TCM. I love
Film Noir. 💕😎I hope you get some gentle rain.

I can now say how scary this storm was. Florida has no basements due to the high water level. A lake could be the size of a puddle. It still takes a while for me to realize this. However, during the storm I had the TV on to Spectrum 9. About 2 pm, I put my head out the door. The sky was gray. There were wind clouds all around. Some could have been a shelf. I closed the door and then heard the tornado warning. It was right in my backyard where I was staying. This went on until 3 am when tornado warnings were finally lifted. And, as of today, back to watching the tropics. There are four currently swirling. Two are in the Atlantic and will not make it to land, thankfully. There is another one in the Caribbean and one in the Gulf. The one in the Gulf has a 50% chance . Not sure about the one in the Caribbean. I was very fortunate to find a team of roofers. They did an excellent job. I need a new downspout which is needed in an area that was repaired by another roofer two years ago and was never replaced. The peak of my roof ended up in front of the van and another larger piece behind the van. I have no idea how it got there.
While visiting hubby yesterday I was able to email the roofer. He answered this morning and will be in touch on Monday. I am impressed with his customer service. I’m also impressed that he is helpful and reaches out. Being without hubby makes my life a bit harder in that many businesses take advantage of women. Many think a woman is dumb. To all women who are single, divorced, widowed, married , etc. start thinking out of the box. Do your homework. Show your knowledge and don’t let age stand in your way. Be positive.

Now that I was able to let go of some steam, I hope you have a wonderful evening. We are cloudy in Florida. But, the temps are in the high 80s during the day and high 70s at night. Hopefully, this is the beginning of our fall season, finally. The humidity is 80%, but the rain chances are good. The plants will be happy. 😀🎵🌴🍦

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Oodie how are you doing today? I hope
you did not have much storm damage and you were smart to have the roofers come out
and fix your roof. I bet they are all over Florida now trying to help make repairs to others
affected by this storm.
