I am concerned that you are not feeling that great again. Please post when you can even if it’s one word. Our home is OK.. I had new roofers come out and they redid the entire roof. Actually, they worked with the one that had been installed by another company. They just did not use the correct nails. However, they went a step further by taking it all a part and reattaching closer together with the correct nails, etc.. Had no leakage with the storm. They will be returning this Saturday to install a new downspout and will check the siding and everything else.

Have you ever made pumpkin and apple soup? Our Farmer’s Market makes one and it is absolutely delicious. I think I will try to make it. Hope October brings better days to both of you.

Thank you for the birch trees. They are my favorite.

I was unable to see hubby Saturday & Sunday. I didn’t realize that the storm caused havoc with my system. I should never watch the telly during the storm. Slept on and off all weekend.

Hubby is doing great. I made a stop at the Farmer’s Market. Oh how I wanted to purchase the Dragon Fruit. But at $5/lb, I decided to think about it. I did purchase some cut up dragon fruit at a more reasonable price along with plums and honeydew melon. I picked up some homemade pumpkin and apple soup. for both of us. It was still popping hot when I arrived at the Rehab. He mentioned that he would enjoy another cup full. Looks like I will be returning before the week is over.

I hope xango is OK.. The last time xango didn’t write was because she was in and out of the hospital for surgery. due to sepsis. And, yes, her area may have been hit pretty hard since she is so close to Tampa. Even though she is inland, they do have lakes around. I pray that both are OK. Not like her to let us know that they are safe.

We have water, though I never drink it. Too many chemicals. I made a stop at Costco and picked up another 40 prior to registering at the motel.

The roofers are returning on Saturday to install a downspout and also to check on the others.
We are back to summer high temps again. Mid 90s with 100% humidity which makes our temps over 105. Temp right now as I type 85. Glad there is A/C in the house.

Good evening I am thinking about the new Covid Shot as well as the Flu shot. I will talk
to my doctor more about this. These last two months of the year will be challenging for
me. My cancer team will look at my mammogram in December and then I will meet with
each team member and I will be off the medicine. 😎

I have more going on here that meets the eye. This is why I rise each day. 😘

I am almost finish with my projects so much to keep me busy here in OZ. 💕

You have been such a good girl and a good sport. 😘😎 We lost Pete Rose so another
one is gone.

It has rained pretty much all day.🌧 This Helene just won’t go away. I read that the Atlanta area got 11 inches of rain in two days. That was a record since 1878.

Needless to say, I stayed home all day and did some busy chores. Hubs said I looked tired and worn out so I will hit the bed early.😕 Meeting mom and sis one day this week for lunch, maybe Thursday. Also need to stop this week or next to get a flu shot.💉
