Each year on October 11, National Coming Out Day encourages civil awareness recognizing and supporting those in the LGBTQ community.

NATIONAL SAUSAGE PIZZA DAY

Food lovers across the country enjoy National Sausage Pizza Day on October 11 each year. Whether served on a thin or thick crust, sausage pizza goes well with other toppings, too. Don’t hesitate to add mushrooms and a variety of cheeses. What’s even better about sausage pizza are the different kinds of sausage to choose from.

GENERAL PULASKI MEMORIAL DAY

General Pulaski Memorial Day on October 11, honors a Polish hero of the American Revolution.

The day is set aside in the United States to recognize Casimir Pulaski, a Polish immigrant. Over two centuries ago, he joined the Continental Army and soon rose in the ranks to Brigadier General.

Alongside General George Washington, he built a legacy that included raising an arm of the colonial military as yet undeveloped – the cavalry. As such, he became known as the father of the American cavalry.

I have seen some of the weather channel reports and the devastation is just horrible.
The reporters said they are not done yet finding people. I always wanted to live in
a high condo in Florida but never mind.
