Guess what I’m doing – laundry. Yep, we are twins, are brains are on the same wavelength.🧠 Also ran to the store for a few things. Making crab cakes for dinner.🦀

Funny, you asked yesterday about my niece. Got an email today that they did not win the tournament (high school team) but they did qualify for the state finals next week. I am getting so confused what each tournament is, easier to follow when it’s only her competing.🏌️‍♂️

Having a couples lunch tomorrow with two friends. Haven’t seen them since August of last year so it’s time. Getting it done before the holiday frenzy.😵 Sending warm hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

It is cold here compared to what we had for the past 6 months, but I am not complaining one bit.
Rather, I am enjoying the 60 degrees and then some. The A/C is off and so is the frig. I am now taking a break and will return in a few minutes. I had to empty the frig completely since we had no electricity for days. I also wrote everything down for insurance purposes, The hard part will be typing everything and sending it off to our homeowners.

Our roofer is off to do others in our community and will stop to check. He hates our lanai screens and wants to do better. I thought all screens were the same. Guess not. This is a learning curve for me. It’s like being in school all over again. In a sense, we both learned quite a bit over the years. Our schooling actually began when we built a home in Ct.. It wasn’t done right from the gecko and so we fired our builder once we found someone else. Before our new builder took over, however, hubby and I went to the house at dusk to check out a few things. We were both standing in the backyard and looking at our deck and remarking on it’s beauty. We turned away for a few minutes and then looked again. I never believed in ghosts until that day. When we turned towards the deck we both saw an apparition in the shape of my grandpa and it was motioning for us to take a closer look at the deck. The apparition was standing at the front of the deck that over looked our backyard and with it’s hands touching the railing and the movement of his feet, we knew something was not right. We contacted our new expert, and he found joists that were not put together correctly. He went on to the deck and as he walked towards the front, the part where grandpa stood collapsed. No one was injured, but the three of us were startled. End of story.

If I get a chance, will write more this evening. Going back to the cleaning process and yes, l am using our favorite cleaning agent.

Oz was a bit chilly last night and this morning. No worries we are heading toward the 70’s
