Club Sheba my Mother’s Edition 💕😘❤️

Jack Jones passed today and he is one of my mother’s favorite artists.

Hi and a good afternoon to you. Well, I was all set to make a trip to the Farmer’s Market, but received an e-mail early morning that the roofers would be here to complete the work on the roofs and other problems resulting from Milton. They are still here as I type. So tomorrow is another day. Have no idea what I will do about dinner. I have dessert for hubby, but I know he will be disappointed that I didn’t bring homemade soup from the Market. If I go now, it will be well after 6pm before I can be at the rehab. He was really in good spirits last night. He was joking around way after 10:30pm. The aide asked me to stay because hubby has been known to roll out of bed while changing the bed linens. Meanwhile, they used a sling to see his weight and then the hospital bed would not work on going up or down. While in the sling, we all worked on the linens which did not need changing, just remove the wrinkles to make him more comfortable. The Rn was able to get the remote to work and said she would make a note to see if a new bed could be ordered. Hubby was hoping that I could have stayed overnight. But, the bed is a single and he has a roommate and that is that what it is. I’m laughing while I am typing. There is a sling that I can order for use in our home if need be. I am also looking for people who can take him to fun places in a handicapped van or whatever. I would meet him wherever. This is a learning experience for me and so much has been done for those who have disabilities. So much so, that they can do almost anything. I just need to find the right pieces of the puzzle. Here'[s hoping that you have a great afternoon and evening.

I did hear from the adjuster and he will be out sometime next week. Yippee. On another note, I purchased Tabitha when I was informed that some were back in stock. The many colored crystals is what sold me. It would look cute on my chef’s hat when I do Thanksgiving dinner. Yep, I will be doing a turkey come h-ll or whatever. No matter where hubby is, there will be a homemade meal that day from me.

It’s a gorgeous day here also. I had nothing for recycle, but did have garbage that may or may not be taken due to the debris everywhere. No worries. Monday is another pickup day. Anyway, temps are in the mid 80s. No humidity. Pollen count is non existent. I am a happy person.
