Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 27 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 10 years ago.😎🎈

I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎

Oodie is your husband out of the hospital? I hope he is settle in right about now.

I know he will miss the food he had there. No worries I am sure you have a little
something for him. 🌹✨

How are you feeling today? I hope no major pain I know how that feels.

  Hi and good evening. Saw hubby yesterday, not today. Hubby’s dinner yesterday was interesting. Tons of food. Nothing really pureed. Not sure if the main protein was cubed chicken or something else. He had mashed potatoes and a veggie. Tea came with the meal along with ice cream in a dixie cup for dessert. He asked for any kind of juice following dinner. An aide brought him apple juice and he drank the whole thing. No coughing. I will not pureed his food when he returns home. However, I think I will work with the nutritionist at the hospital just to be on the safe side. The meals are huge. Nothing like what they give him at the rehab. He is now asking for rice. In Asia they have a rice dish called Congee. I had no idea what it was until I saw it as part of a breakfast buffet and decided to give it a try. At first I thought it may have been an eel or something more drastic. I was surprised that it was overcooked rice that was an Asian oatmeal. However, unlike our cereal which sometimes bland, this one had all kinds of things added to it. Nuts, pork, fish, meat , etc.. Your choice. I started laughing out loud while typing this. We were in NYC, Chinatown. It was extremely cold. So we kept going to one
  restaurant after another to warm up. One of the restaurants had congee on the menu. We both ordered it. The waitress asked if we knew what it was. We both chimed in “your oatmeal.” She was absolutely dumbfounded. I asked for nuts and pork and hubby a sked for fish and nuts so we could interchange. Anyway, I will make this dish for hubby when he returns to rehab. His health is not the issue. Seems they are having problems with the insurance. I tried to reach case management this afternoon. Ended up leaving a message. I would hate to think that I would end up paying for this hospital stay. This is the first time we have had this problem.
  
  Had my hair taken care of today. Trim and color. It felt so good to have someone else do the shampoo and conditioner. Went to the Farmer’s Market following the appointment. I purchased the stone plums and they are sweet. They also had Bing cherries on sale. Wow!!!! Oh yes, dragon fruit. I now wonder if you can get Dragon fruit through some companies on line. Hubby loves the Dragon fruit and I am thinking of mixing it with the plums and cherries. I’m thinking it may be good with bananas as well. Smoothie comes to mind.
  
  When I finally made it home had some messages from my new Auto Insurance Co.. For some reason I cannot sign anything in Adobe. I try, but it remains blank. These forms need to be signed by Friday or Saturday. I’ve been trying for three weeks on a daily basis to no avail. No one seems to know what the problem is. And I thought I was good with computers until now .
  
  Hope you have a great evening. Another suggestion on the kitties. You may want to try an electric heater. Nothing too big and something that would be on a low setting where they eat.
  Who knows, they just may curl up and sleep till morning.
