NATIONAL PEACH DAY

August 27 is National Peach Day on the National Day Calendar to celebrate one of summertime’s most scrumptious fruits known as the peach! August is prime peach season in the U.S. and we want everyone to enjoy a few peaches, plus remember the hardworking peach growers who provide us with this delicious fruit.

Summertime brings plenty of opportunity to enjoy fresh fruits, especially a flavorful, juicy peach. Local farmers’ markets and orchids are busy picking peaches to deliver to anxious peach lovers. Whether you enjoy a peach by itself or use your peaches for canning and baking, National Peach Day is here to encourage you to celebrate this wonderful food holiday.

On August 27, National Pots De Creme Day sets the table with a delicious custard dessert. Collect your ramekins, because this day gives you another excuse to use them!

NATIONAL JUST BECAUSE DAY

On August 27, National Just Because Day offers up an opportunity to do stuff…just because. So feel free to celebrate this day any way you choose. Just because!

Just arrived home and the first thing I did was turn the water on. Nothing happened. Checked the e-mail and there is quite a bit to be done. Leaving the water on overnight would cause more damage. I hope this is all repaired by tomorrow.

Hubby was very itchy. I have started to bring his clothes home to wash and dry. He may be allergic to the soap powder or liquid. He was wearing dungarees and he was not scratching in that area, but chest and back were terrible. Funny, the shirt he was wearing was washed in the rehab, but the shirt he had over the T was recently done by me. I have some laundry here that I put together this evening. Guess I will not be doing laundry for the next few days. This should be the worse of all problems……..I hope so.

Your jacket/swing coat and my rainbow all within a 24 hour period, AWESOME. That rainbow came out of nowhere. Clear skies ahead, on both sides and even the back showed no dark clouds. That rainbow was gorgeous and I was so thankful. Someone was looking out for us. Could have been our dads. I did thank whomever and let them know that I was happy to see something so out of the ordinary.

You are right the car was going too fast. I could have been seriously hurt or worse.
The people who saw it were stunned and shaking more than me. We have some
heavy construction on the streets near me and they are sending cars down a very
nice residential area. No cool and no they did not stop. I just continued on with my
appt. and my neighbor and I finally calmed down and had a nice morning. 💕

I do know who you are talking that was our friend Bichon08 and she loved her Bichon Dogs.
I do remember Posh in New Jersey her husband was a New York Theater Manager. 🎈😎
Those were the good ole days. 💕🎈😎

Take your time and please be careful. Oz is hot as I type this post to you it’s the humidity.
The high pollen bothers my sinus and I get a slight headache.

We have some good rain on the way. My plants and garden are growing like crazy. 💕🎈😎
Yes everyone is pea green with envy but I take time and feed the plants and make sure
they have plenty of water. The cats are well feed I make sure they have fresh food and plenty
of fresh water I even feed the possums.

Oodie there was something about the Iris Apfel Coat something happened I don’t know
what it was maybe I will never know. Oodie it is a long swing coat that have the polka dots
inside I brought it here at HSN. I have a lot of her pieces and they are not for the shy type.
I do miss her and her BD is in two days and her husband Carl is a day or two after her’s and I
hope they are together. I always thought her nails were so beautiful even in her 100’s.
Iris knew how to dress and it suited her to perfection. May she RIP. 😎

We have a lot of road construction and cars are coming and going everywhere. I am out
at night with Poppy and never ever had a problem. My neighbor was taking as we were
going for a light breakfast and I just needed to run into my doctor’s office for just 20 minutes.
Taci if you had seen her face it was sheer white as was my other neighbor they saw everything.
Poppy was looking out of my large picture window I hope he did not know anything.

I think a lot of Cities are having construction going on and it is a mess all over.

I was wearing my Iris Apfel Yellow jacket with the Polka Dots inside and somehow it stopped
me from moving forward. Grant I am very agile I can run and jump at the same time. LOL!

I was upset a wee bit but the neighbors were more upset. Once everything was done while
out I came home and Poppy was waiting at door. I am keeping my security camera on so
if there is a incident I will record it. I can see the possums at night. LOL! I stay on the porch
to watch the Moon so I am pretty safe there.

I am so wishing your son have a great time all my children have traveled abroad and to other
places one daughter love Hawaii the most and she has been to France, London and Italy. 😎

Taci I am looking at this of course it is Heidi Daus. I will get this set. 😎🎈💕
