I know you are still mapping out the itinerary and getting things ready for the trip. Don’t forget to mask up on the plane. Even with all your precautions, there is still a chance for catching whatever someone else has brought with them. Hope you have a wonderful time. Nothing like hiking and doing what the locals do. Just returned from the rehab. Hubby was not himself this evening. He was asleep when I arrived with his dinner on the tray. He wanted to sleep. The RN came in when I rang the buzzer. He ate the ice cream in the dixie cup and took a few bites of his dinner. I made soup with bok choy, meatballs, wontons and Dragon fruit. He ate a little and then fell back to sleep. Not sure if I should worry since this happens every so often. I will be meeting with the social workers at the rehab to see if I can take him for a ride and also see if it’s feasible to bring him home. I will need a ramp for the wheelchair ,a twin hospital bed and also to redo the guest bathroom with a walk-in shower. I really think he will do better at home. The aid staff and some of the nurses leave a lot to be desired.

Last night I had a reaction to Yogurt. I knew better. Anything fermented is a sulfite. But, it looked so good and I hadn’t had it in years, so I went for it. Ten minutes later a reaction. I carry pills with me all the time and so I reached for the pill box in my bag. Well, haste makes waste as the saying goes. Instead of taking the ones I needed, took the Dramamine instead. I fell sound asleep in the chair and woke when the aide came in to get hubby ready for bed. I could hardly move. After a few minutes, I left and made it home OK.. Took the correct formula and went to bed. Today I was greeted with, “whatever you drank last night we want it also.”

We had torrential rain around 7 pm. It lasted about an hour. Humidity seems to be down some. Temp is still in the middle 80s. I am now watching the tropics. I will be contacting the new roofer this week . I do not wish to take any chances. This firm does have a warantee. This is one time I wish hubby was home.

Yes, I have water. But for using, needs to be boiled first until we have 48 hours of clear water without bacteria showing. The water was tested yesterday. I do not know the outcome. Meanwhile, I will not use it until we are given the all clear.

I hope xango is OK. I think she was scheduled for a procedure in August. I hope she is OK.
