Good evening I am so sorry to hear this news of you having Covid. Good grief!
Taci I was watching the news less than an hour ago and at the top of the report we
have a upsurge in Covid cases called Summer Covid and they named the symptoms
that you have. I am masking up until flu season is over. 😎

I hope you don’t feel too bad at least your are a Warrior who take care of her body. 🎈
I hope it is only a mild case and blows over soon. Very glad you can still go on your
trip. Just distance a little from people and keep a mask on and wash your hands. I know
I sound like a broken record but with all four of our children having had Covid and me and
hubby I know a thing or two about this annoying virus.

Sheba, Hello. Hope you are having a good Labor Day weekend!
Well, i had a little fever and sore throat, and didn’t think much about it until hubs told me I better take a covid test. I did and yah, it was positive. I will test again tomorrow. What a pain.
Looking forward to seeing Ms. Heid Daus this week! Guess I will be home 🙂

Oodie, Hello. I too will take some of that drink (haha). Glad you are ok. from the yogurt.
I think we all do better when home so hope it works out for your hubs to get home. Wanted to let you know that I use a counter top pitcher with a water filtration plug in it. I think it’s called Purr. Mine is from Home Depot, but Wallmart and lots of other stores have them in all sorts of varieties. Maybe it will help even if you boil the water? Hubs also put a water filter on the water dispenser (from the freezer side) of our refrigerator.

Thanks for the advice. I will take it. I still have a supply of masks, and clorox wipes.

Guess what? Tonight I tested positive for Covid. Can’t believe it. I’ll be isolating for 10 days here at home and we leave soon after. Guess I will have lots of time to pack.

Good evening I don’t like hearing you find your husband like that. I have learned with
family members having diabetes that if your glucose is too low you will get sleepy they
need to check his levels and make sure he is on target where his doctors want him to be.

Here is a way to have a test give him something sweet to eat and watch what happens.
My Step-mother is a diabetic and she weights a good 100 pounds walks miles a day.
Currently she takes no meds.

I am glad you had some rest sorry about those additives Oodie if I had that I would just
stop eating everything has something in it to some degree I hate that.

Good evening our day here in OZ has been nice. 😎🎈Lady as I type this post we
are in the 60’s all the cats have came and been feed. I even have names for them.
I even name the little Possum he is a thirsty little fella. 🎈

Glad you are having a nice weekend. I did everything I planned to do. Hubby does not
have to go in tomorrow so we are going to have a little more fun. 💕

I know you are still mapping out the itinerary and getting things ready for the trip. Don’t forget to mask up on the plane. Even with all your precautions, there is still a chance for catching whatever someone else has brought with them. Hope you have a wonderful time. Nothing like hiking and doing what the locals do. Enjoy.

Just returned from the rehab. Hubby was not himself this evening. He was asleep when I arrived with his dinner on the tray. He wanted to sleep. The RN came in when I rang the buzzer. He ate the ice cream in the dixie cup and took a few bites of his dinner. I made soup with bok choy, meatballs, wontons and Dragon fruit. He ate a little and then fell back to sleep. Not sure if I should worry since this happens every so often. I will be meeting with the social workers at the rehab to see if I can take him for a ride and also see if it’s feasible to bring him home. I will need a ramp for the wheelchair ,a twin hospital bed and also to redo the guest bathroom with a walk-in shower. I really think he will do better at home. The aid staff and some of the nurses leave a lot to be desired.

Last night I had a reaction to Yogurt. I knew better. Anything fermented is a sulfite. But, it looked so good and I hadn’t had it in years, so I went for it. Ten minutes later a reaction. I carry pills with me all the time and so I reached for the pill box in my bag. Well, haste makes waste as the saying goes. Instead of taking the ones I needed, took the Dramamine instead. I fell sound asleep in the chair and woke when the aide came in to get hubby ready for bed. I could hardly move. After a few minutes, I left and made it home OK.. Took the correct formula and went to bed. Today I was greeted with, “whatever you drank last night we want it also.”

We had torrential rain around 7 pm. It lasted about an hour. Humidity seems to be down some. Temp is still in the middle 80s. I am now watching the tropics. I will be contacting the new roofer this week . I do not wish to take any chances. This firm does have a warantee. This is one time I wish hubby was home.

Yes, I have water. But for using, needs to be boiled first until we have 48 hours of clear water without bacteria showing. The water was tested yesterday. I do not know the outcome. Meanwhile, I will not use it until we are given the all clear.

Have a great Labor Day. I hope you are sitting and relaxing. Nice time to catch up on some reading.

I hope xango is OK. I think she was scheduled for a procedure in August. I hope she is OK.

Wow, those sandwiches look delish! Especially the melted cheese oozing all over my hands, lol!🧀 We have a rib fest going on so hubs already brought some back for dinner today.

Had a day at SIL’s house yesterday, dinner and lots of laughs. Going back tomorrow for a steak cookout so I will be making pies today.🥧 Busy week, winery on Wednesday, doc appointments for me and hubs Thursday and Friday and I’ll probably have the family over next weekend. Looks like Tuesday is the only day for R & R.😴

Temps will be much more comfy starting tomorrow where you can actually sit outside for a while. Enjoy your feast today. Sending holiday hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖
