There is a heat advisory today and I did a load of wash. Taking it out of the dryer with the window opened was not a good idea. No air. By the time I folded and put hubby’s things in a carryall I was bushed. Looked at the time and decided to call the Rehab. No way would I be there before 7 pm. So I decided to rest and now will go into the kitchen . I will be emptying the knife drawer tonight and cleaning it. Will go through what is in there and make decisions. Our day for garbage and recyclables are tomorrow. Not sure if I will have enough of either. Garbage pickup will be back to Mondays and Thursdays until the next holiday. I had two huge loads on Tuesday.

It is extremely hot and humid here. Temps in the mid 90s and 100% humidity. This brings the temps to over 105 degrees. Not sure about tomorrow. We had several thunderstorms in the wee hours. Lightning woke me up. I thought it was someone outside with a flashlight. Streaks of lightning across the sky. Saw three or four at a glance in one area. Pretty to watch, but not good for outdoors. So far no rain as yet, though it is expected.

Hubby is doing great mind wise. His short term memory is coming back. Yesterday he wanted to know why I didn’t show on Tuesday. I hope to be up and about early tomorrow. Need to make a stop at Aldi’s and then on to Sam’s and Costco. I will pick up soft ice cream for hubby from Costco. Yes, he has PT for an hour. This week it was Monday. Not sure if he goes on other days. Tomorrow I will be bringing Clean Boss. I want to clean the closet, his side of the dresser and the bed and night stand. I hope to have this done before dinner time (at least the bed). Fingers crossed that the aide will be back. This is his weekend to work and he is so helpful. Yes, I do need to get him a great gift. Hubby has something in mind, but I do need his last name which is almost impossible to get. I just hope that the Clean Boss will help with the rash and the itches. If it does, then this will be something I will need to do at least once a week.

Watched Heidi. I’m kicking myself over the turkey. Had it in my favorites, but never received a notification that it could sell out. Heidi mentioned that the only place you could purchase this was on HSN. She said it had sold out on her web site. Funny, I don’t recall seeing it there. It’s still in favorites in case someone changes their mind or is returned. Wow, the stones were absolutely gorgeous. She really knows how to put things together.

Well, back to KP. Once that knife drawer is cleaned with Clean Boss I will go onto the cabinet for the pots and pans. Cannot wait.
