It is very hot and humid on the Gulf coast. Temps today were in the 90s. I did some shopping at Aldi’s. Prices have more than doubled and eggs were almost $4/doz. I had to look twice at the prices. Unloading the car was another matter. It didn’t take long to feel the water dripping everywhere. Seeing hubby today was not possible. I just hope and pray he is OK.

I did see hubby yesterday. Arrived real early. He was good. I had made a stop at Culver’s for their cranberry salad and ice cream for hubby. When I arrived at the Rehab we were able to eat together. However, when I opened my salad it was with strawberries. I was able to use hubby’s utensils and gave him what was on my plate. I think I received someone’s order. Oh well. Thank goodness I carry my meds just in case. Hubby was concerned, but an hour later I was fine. The nurses are always close by if there were any problems. Thank the stars that everything was OK.
The aide I like was a no show. I just hope he is taking some time for himself and not ill again.

I have had some problems with the kitchen that has put me back a few days. I was able to fix things myself, however the kitchen drains are not working that well and it looks ;like I will need a new disposal. This means I am doing everything by hand. When the drains are repaired I will redo the dishes on sanitize. I am looking for a new plumber. The one I used retired. At the same time I am looking for someone to redo the guest bathroom to make it accessible for a wheelchair. Also want a walk-in shower. Once that is done hubby can return home. The entrance ramp will only take a day or two, so no problems there.
