I have quite a few of Colleen’s boxes and I love them. I have been using them for years and my sterling still looks brand new. Even with everything that happened in this house they have remained OK.. Hope you purchase them and enjoy them as much as I have. Also glad the family and yourself are feeling better. Enjoy the season. It’s the only time that strangers talk to one another. Why this doesn’t continue all year long is beyond me.

Hi again. Never a dull moment. Just received a phone call from the Rehab. Hubby is being rushed to the hospital. Internal bleeding from the bladder. I was told to stay put and to wait for the hospital to contact me. May not be anything, however the urologist will be seeing him at the hospital. Gee whiz, it’s two weeks today from the surgery. Hoping it’s nothing.

I am writing this and it is already Monday morning. I didn’t visit hubby yesterday. Instead did a couple of loads of laundry and started cleaning the car out since I have an appointment Wed.. Filled one garbage bag that is ready to go this morning for pickup. I still have the trunk left.

The rain fell yesterday afternoon. We had a thunderstorm followed by a light rain that I’m sure all the new plants enjoyed. Today I have the plumber returning and that job will take at least 3-6 hours depending on what he finds. The new shower head in the Master is leaking and the entire plumbing will need to be replaced and that also includes the guest bathroom. He mentioned that I will not know anything has been done when he finishes. I surmise he took pictures of the tile. I also have a handyman coming to help me decide whether I need new stairs or a ramp leading to the front door. He also will take a look at our metal bed frame to see if he will be able to adjust it so that the new mattress fits. At the same time I think we need a box spring. The mattress is too low for me and with my bad back getting out of bed is difficult. I surmise with exercise and some practice this will become easier. Never in a million years did I think I would have this problem (LOL).

It’s not often I get to say I am enjoying a good read. Never would I think Barbra Streisand could write, but, that has changed. I am reading her Memoir and I cannot put the book down. It’s New York with all the delicatessens and the theater crowd. We are having this conversation. The song “Memories” comes to mind. It’s all of this and more.

Sounds like you have winter holiday weather! The thread is looking very nice and in Holiday mode.
By the way, you mentioned Choco Nuvo a while back. Well, once we landed in the US and were on the East Coast, and were waiting for our connecting flight home, yup, I was ordering.🤣
