Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
Sheba, Hello! Tomorrow is my 2nd revenge hike on the same trail. I sure hope it is easier this time. Hubs and I will drive for about an hour to get to it. I will do well as long as it’s not hot. There will be bugs so I have to dress and use bug spray and they will still try to get at me. Those bugs want some fresh food (me). Today I rested because the hill//run combo made me tired.
Have a good night!
Oodie, hope you feel better soon.
My ring sparkles, let’s hope that continues over time. I had a pair of natural Herkimer studs from a decade or more ago and they looked great for a month and then looked liked ugly glass.
The ring so far is highly wearable and light weight. I will leave a review after wearing it for a few days. Was you tsvorite ring the bypass one from Rarities?
Peace Out Peeps glitch in the system will try again tomorrow. ✨✨
I have no clue what is happening. There is a glitch somewhere.
Hi and a good evening. I.’m in bed and will get up soon to order a pizza for delivery. Didn’t eat for two days. Could barely stand without feeling I was going to faint. This afternoon was the first time I felt like eating and made a chicken salad sandwich. I did contact the rehab and spoke with the unit mgr/head nurse. Hubby is doing great. His exact words. However, I did contact the urologist to schedule the next test. They informed me that he must be able to stand and to get onto a 24″
Mattress. If not he will have to travel to Tampa which is almost an hour plus one way due to construction. This I will mention when I am able to see hubby. I almost doubt that the rehab will drive that distance. I am wondering if some other people could travel with him to help him onto the bed. Evidently, there is no one in the department to help. Seems odd. Also asked about his roommate and found he was rushed to the hospital this morning.. He has been on oxygen on and off since his arrival about three weeks ago.
Happy Wednesday to you. No book reading on the deck or swimming today. We have a red alert air quality day due to the wildfires in Canada.🔥 Woke up to a haze hanging over my yard. The forecast was hazy, warm and smokey.😮 This is the worst it has been and is supposed to hang around at least through tomorrow. Went out back for a little while to tend to the flowers and could feel my throat getting scratchy.
Microwave broke yesterday so will be out looking for a new one in the next couple days. I use it a lot, it was 15 years old so I can’t complain. It is an OTR one so I have to be careful on size. I bought all new appliances at the same time so I guess they all will be dying now.😕
BTW, that cake you sent last night is gone!!!👅
A whole other type of beauty exists in the moonlight that we can fully enjoy if we know how.
In the height of summertime’s heat, we drift outdoors at dusk to refresh ourselves in the temperate air of evening. Cricket song and the glow of fireflies come together with ever-lengthening shadows to create a natural symphony of overlapping sensations that invigorates the body and gladdens the soul. As the sun sets, the vivid colors of most flowers and leaves fade, becoming a dull gray, but moon gardens provide us with a space to appreciate Mother Nature’s bounty long after the light of day has retreated. Designed to be enjoyed from dusk until dark, these gardens serve as a perfect complement to silvery moonlight, mild summer nights, and the spirit of rejuvenation.
Most plant life worships the sun, but a select few shrubs and flowers come into their own in the moon’s glow. The silvery leaves of lamb’s ears and artemisia reflect the radiance of the moon, while the bright-white flowers adorning yucca and evening primrose seem to shimmer brilliantly in dusk’s gloom. Certain blossoms, such as the moonflower and four o’clocks, open only at night, releasing their sweet fragrances along with spectacular displays of beauty. While creating a moon garden, remember to take each human sense into account. We appreciate the ghostly beauty of nighttime nature best when we can sit comfortably until our eyes have adjusted to the surrounding darkness. Bamboo and thick grasses make a comforting sound when bandied about by gentle nighttime breezes.
Transforming a portion of your existing yard or patio into a moon garden is simple, and the pleasure is worth it. Green spaces come alive at night when nocturnal blossoms release their perfume into the air and ethereally lovely and luminous foliage dances in the breeze. In a moon garden, relaxation is a simple matter of attuning yourself to the stillness of evening and seeing, perhaps for the first time, the myriad shades of beauty that can be found in the darkness.
Good afternoon to you in the beautiful ‘burgh. I would sit on my deck and have a drink
or two with a good book or music and enjoy the day. 😎🌹
Wishing you a great Wednesday to just relax and if you go swimming at your mother’s that’s
a good thing too. 💕

97 degrees later today. Sheesh! I always take Poppy with me so I make sure the sidewalks

I am growing fond of the baby possum. I just hope I don’t get a bear or coyote. Oh, snap!
