Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thank you so much for your post. It really means a lot knowing that people care and reach out. I have no idea how hubby is today. I had contacted Terminix to let them know about the critter and they left a message to someone. Unfortunately, no one showed and because I was waiting never did see my hubby. So, I will make another call.
Tomorrow I will be up and will work on the lanai. There are items out there for the den and I will tackle those first. Everything needs a washing and then will brought into the room when dried and put where it will belong. Some men will come to take the loveseat outside for me to examine to make sure no mice made a home inside. I have our stereo outside and it’s covered. Will be cleaning that and then will plug it in to see if it still works. The den outlets now work. I will be cleaning only for a short while because I want to be with hubby. The days are long for him when I’m not there. He is receiving therapy to help with his short term memory and whatever is being done seems to be working. Not sure how long our medical insurance will hold out. This is the first time we have had problems and of course this is a new one for us. Right now I am not happy with them. Suffice to say that I’m glad that the rehab will be taking hubby to any doctor appointments and after the diagnosis either he will be home or will stay with them until the house is in order. This I have asked for so he doesn’t fall or slip. I wish I could say that the kitchen is done, but, until someone comes here I will only stay long enough to get something to eat.
I am feeling better. Just wish the energy would return faster. But, venturing out does help.
Again, thanks for your concern. Looking forward to a trip your way for the Asian market. Take care and stay safe.

@Sheba
Hello Sheba, How are you feeling?
The Sunset in the backyard is just amazing. The shy is developing into many colors, my favorite is when it turns pink then orange. The blues are many as well, from light blue to gray dark blue.My grand nephew is getting big and growing. It’s just about 6 plus months, he is crawling all over the place.
I saw the Armadillo again last night. It wondered all over the backyard and then went between the houses into the other side of the street. I found it interesting how it wasn’t scared.
Take care Sheba. ❤️❤️🌻🌻

Good afternoon to you. Another nice day before the cold is back. Went up to mom’s today and we had the usual, tea, food and talk.☕🍪🤤
Not real sure what a gumball tree is but it sounds prickly and lots of work. I don’t think we have any in the ‘burgh but that’s okay, I have every other tree around my house. Hopefully Mr. Poppy doesn’t tramp on any, ouch!😣
Another week and a half and we will be back to DST, yay! I’m not a fan of my day ending at 5:00 pm. Ready for spring in a few weeks.🌻🌷🌼 Although we have been extremely lucky with a mild winter.
Sending hugs to you, Poppy and Charlie up above.🤗💖

Hi Oodie, I meant to say check out the Mayo Clinic for info. I shouldn’t post at 2:00 in the morning. If you haven’t already, find out how they arrived at the Stage 3 Kidney diagnosis. If it was simply from a blood test they could be wrong. Find out where in Stage 3 he is, at the beginning, middle, or closer to Stage 4. There is a mathematical formula used by the technicians to determine chronic kidney disease. This formula is outdated and wrong. It is still being used and just shows up on a computer. My Nephrologist told me he couldn’t believe the number of times his students would diagnose a patient with chronic kidney disease and scare the heck out of them when there was nothing wrong with them in the first place, they just didn’t know how to read the blood results. Remember to take care of yourself, and good luck to you both.

The new floor is in. Guess you missed my post from 2 days ago. I had 3 on a match from 8am to 11:30am. About 8:10 am I had the floor people. About 10 minutes later the boudoir chair was de;overed and at 11:30 am Terminix came and didn’t add anything. However, as of this morning the mouse is gone, dead, and now waiting for a call from Terminix to take the critter away. Now, waiting on the roofer to return to plug up the area that can lead more critters into our home.
Had my hair done this morning and I feel like a new person. Good relaxation time and to read a book I started about two months ago. I will again begin working on the house tomorrow and redo some of the cabinets (lower ones) to make sure there were no critters in there.
Had a couple of phone calls from the nurses and hubby cannot have pizza today which is Ok with me. They are trying to get him an appointment with an urologist and nephrologist. The nurse knew about the disease that pookie mentioned in her post last night. They are not sure and will not know until the tests are done and read. Some of those tests have to be done through an urologist after the background info is taken. There is also a diet plan and once everything is in I will ask to meet with a nutritionist. I have a feeling that the diet may be similar to the one I am on and also similar to “Wheat Belly.” There is a good nutritionist at the hospital I like, but right now, I do not wish to jump the gun.
I was up to after 5am reading everything that pookie recommended. And, yes, I started a notebook. It is good to start from somewhere. And, even if this disease is not the one, at least I have some info that may be good going forward. The diet cannot hurt and may be good for my sulfite allergy as well.
I am also watching Heidi who is making me smile more. She is such a delight to watch. I promised myself that I would not purchase anything. That was my famous last words.

Turning to Ancestors for Guidance
There is so much beauty in honoring those that came before you and seeking their wisdom.
Many entities assume the role of spirit guide. Throughout our lives, we may call upon angels, animal and nature spirits, ascended masters, and celestial guardians for aid, protection, and support. Our ancestors represent another wellspring from which we may draw wisdom in times of need for they, too, can act as our spirit guides. Since our forebears spent at least one lifetime experiencing the tribulations that are a part of human existence, the perspective they can offer is a uniquely grounded one. Ancestral spirit guides can empathize with our fears and our frailties, worry, temptation, and feelings of insecurity. Once you have requested their guidance, they will see to it that you emerge unscathed on the far side of conflicts and are well-equipped to fulfill your potential. If your relationship with your relatives was strained when they were earthbound or you feel disconnected from your heritage, the thought of asking your ancestors for aid can be disconcerting. But when the soul takes on its spirit form, it becomes pure light. Your ancestors, regardless of who or what they were in life, are monitoring your life’s journey because you are their progeny and they want to see you do your best. You can communicate with them directly, as well as through meditation, your dreams, or the written word. Creating an altar or shrine that displays images of your forebears or objects owned by them can help you connect with individual ancestors. The guidance they provide may take many forms as each ancestral spirit guide retains its individual identity and will thus have its own style of communication. If your ancestors do not speak to you directly or visit you in your dreams, examine your life to determine whether they are replying to your queries subconsciously.
When you make contact with your forebears, thank them for being a part of the web of intent that gave you life. Honoring their wisdom and experience can make your life seem larger and richer. Like other spirit guides, your ancestors won’t interfere with your choices or attempt to deprive you of free will. They will only do their best to answer your questions and provide you with all the love, aid, and guidance you ask for in order to help you evolve as an individual.
AMEN! ✨✨🌹
