Conversation – 18

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Pookie123,
Good morning hey if you are going to post on someone’s thread at least say hello to
the person who is here every single day for 9 years. It’s not cool to just come in and start
posting. I am not a mean girl at all and everyone knows it.I like how you have given Oodiebom some hope and help in her husband’s health matters.
Thank you for that and I know Oodie loves it.You know I am going through a lot right now and this year already have been tough my nerves are raw so to speak.
I don’t beat around the bush or do cat and mouse but this is a lot of work to keep the thread
going.Thank you for posting and have a great day.

Thanks so much for taking the time to post. I was so thankful for the post from pookie. After speaking with the nurse’s today, they knew about the disease that pookie mentioned, but not sure if my hubby has it. Only time will tell and of course seeing an urologist will certainly help. I always thought the 3rd stage was the beginning of a death sentence, but to be perfectly frank, one does not realize that there is a problem until it hits this number especially when it has to do with the bladder, kidneys and the whatevers. Doctors usually can tell from a blood test and my husband’s last appointment showed he was down 10%. Why he didn’t recommend an urologist then is anyone’s guess. However, in this case, it is better late than never. I am relieved to know that stage 3 is not a death sentence and though there are problems, if we can hit it now, he can live so many more years. The best part is that with pelvic exercises, a good diet, and the right medication, the catheter may be able to be eliminated altogether. Pookie sure helped to raise my spirits and to give me something to look at. I read the article from John Hopkins and it was very helpful in explaining everything. I followed pookie’s advice from beginning to end and hopefully, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I see your hubby is playing “Fiddler On the Roof” again. Tell him to please be careful. Those tiles could be very slippery. Well, at least from my vantage point they do look it. I am also glad that in some areas the drought is easing up. Hope it continues, but not all at once. At least it is a good beginning. Take care and please try to be safe when on those hikes.
