Well, guess your thread is up and running and so I will post. First of all Sheba, congrats on nine years running this thread and for all of us who enjoy the music, the fashion ensembles, the awards, and for the fun and enjoyment in reading everything there is. I’ve only been here for two years to your nine but the people you meet are also part of the enjoyment. We are here for the good and the bad, the tears and the laughter, good days and bad, but most of all we are here for the get togethers and the whatevers. We all bring something different to the table and that also makes for a great thread.

Now, for some updates. I left here later than I anticipated because of the e-mail stating that the roofers would be here. WRONG. Anyway, I brought hubby a plastic container of fruit that included honeydew melon, blueberries and pineapple. I forgot to cut up the banana. Anyway, when I arrived the guys had just finished dinner which was soup and a tuna sandwich. Not much on the dinner plate. From what I understand there was hardly anything on the plate and therefore the nurses got together and made grilled cheese sandwiches to supplement. Never saw this before. And, Thank goodness I had a care package. But, I really felt for hubby’s roommate who gets no visitors and no extras. It is a long day for him. And I am happy that I can include him with hubby.

But something else happened. No more catheter. He is going to the bathroom on his own. And the bleeding has stopped. Now begins the actual road to strengthen those muscles and get back to basics. The meals during the day seem to be OK. However, I asked both men if they ever get veggies, salad and fruit with their meals. The answer was an emphatic NO. I hope I can meet with the nutritionist on Monday. I will make up a salad, and will bring it with me. A care package for both men. However, I know my hubby can have it, and will ask about the roommate. I will try to get to the Farmer’s Market on Monday and if not, Tuesday. And, now, more than ever, hubby wants to come home. I still think he needs an urologist so we can start going on the right path to health. Pookie was right and I need to delve further. Glad I am able to do the extras.

Sheba, sorry if I don’t post about appreciating you as much as I should. Hope you had a great Saturday. It’s still cooler here for this time of year. No complaints from me about it.
Today at the end of my walk, not just one but two coyotes came from the little stream on the left and crossed in front of me to the other side. They didn’t know I was there and it’s a busy path and I was shocked. They looked back at me like oops and I put up 2 fingers to the oncoming dog walker. This was my closest encounter. It was very fast.
My closet looks much better. It’s thinned out a bit and I added new shoe organizers that are clear boxes. A few more things to do and it should be completed. It’s not a mega sized closet or anything so it has to be organized. My son finally said he had some items to donate but it will take him forever to go through his stuff.

Oodie, maybe he can order from Uber eats or some delivery service that meets his meal plans?
I offered to order food for my Mother like this when she was in rehab and the hospital.

Hi in Oz. I’m watching the hockey game, we’ve won the past four, but now. . . .it is time to turn the channel.🙁 Horrible game, I need to find something else on the telly.📺

The flowers are gorgeous, love the color!🌷🌻🌺 My irises and lilies are poking up from the ground already. I’m sure we will have cold/snow in March so hope they make it.😕

Hello Sheba, how is your day going?
I sure would love to send some warm Sunshine your way.
We are at 85 degrees, it’s pretty and warm outside.

The Sunsets are becoming increasingly colorful. Stripes of pink and orange across the sky.
Daylight Savings Time starts on the 12th. We will move our clocks one hour forward.

Hubby is busy in the kitchen cooking today. We received a large box of food from the Indian store yesterday. Lots of all kinds of lentils, spices, curry leaves and other items.
He made lentils pancakcs. He is making a pizza crust from lentils. He also makes patties out of lentils.
I like to make Falafel, it’s a Middle Eastern dish made out of Garbanzo beans. Along with that I also like to make Hummus. But when it comes to the Indian dishes, hot/spicy that burns my eyes I leave it for hubby to cook. 😀
