Club Sheba Anniversary Edition ✨✨🌹

Good evening Sheba, I hope you, your husband and Poppy had a good Sunday.

When I placed my last order on line here on HSN, the items all doubled. The system went haywire, I noticed after I had hit place order or something to that. I looked at my order and it had shown twice on the items. So I canceled it, and it totally canceled the entire order. I had to go back and order again.

I am not sure when we will have some rain. We have been extremely dry this Winter and that goes for Autumn too. March has brought some very windy days, and it drys everything.

Hubby is working half day out of the house tomorrow. He has an eye appointment in the afternoon.

I have Terminix returning tomorrow morning. Yep, another one. This time I know where they are coming from and will connect with the contractor across the street to redo parts of the lanai that back up into the house. He probably can do the repairs in no time.

I didn’t see hubby today. I did call and I think I woke him up, or he is just not feeling well. I will be there tomorrow to see what is going on. Hopefully, I can be there by early afternoon and also meet with the nutritionist. I do not think she knows what the meal plans have been on Friday through Sunday. I also want to know why no veggies or fresh fruit. There are quite a few places that have bulk purchasing which means lower prices. And I do not mean the warehouses. On the weekends it has been protein and starch. While at the hospital I was informed that hubby was anemic. Not good when you do not eat. I am also not sure if he ate the grilled cheese sandwich that the nurses brought. One of the perks at this rehab was the food. So far I haven’t seen much. It seems like everyone gets the same meals. That isn’t good either when you have patients that are diabetic, food allergies, etc. etc.. Guess they do not believe in menu choices. Too much trouble.

I always check the prescriptions when I arrive home. I usually use the drive through. Just rather wait in the car than wait in a line at the counter. We use CVS also. And it was the pharmacist here that helped me with the meds. She gave me a list for am and pm. I transferred that list into a notebook. One page for the morning and a separate page for the evening. So far, it has worked out well. I’m OK now. Just an upset stomach. Not sure if it’s a bug or a Sulfite thing. So far Pepto and I are best of friends.

It was a beautiful day on the Coast. Temps in the low 80s with some humidity. I did pick up hubby’s meds and then returned home. Going to do some work and then will get to bed early.
Tomorrow is also garbage pickup. Thursdays is garbage pickup and Recyclables. Hope you and Poppy have a nice walk. Be safe.
