We had rain on and off starting early morning and lasting through late afternoon. A nice, drenching rain and other times it just poured. I surmise that is why I had so many aches and pains for the past couple of days. It is a bit windy and we now have cooler temps. Just hope that it doesn’t affect the sinuses.

I just returned from visiting hubby. I was totally unhappy with his dinner. Noodles with tomato sauce and stringed beans. Dessert was a hoodsie cup of vanilla ice cream. This was served in a Styrofoam take out . I was so disappointed. Being Easter and Passover I expected either ham or lamb. I brought a roast beef sandwich with tomato. I also sliced a fresh pineapple and brought the honey crisp apple. I stayed almost two hours and would have stayed longer, but I was freezing. Hubby had a change in linens while I was there. He shivered the whole time. I helped the RN make the bed and she brought a top sheet, a warm blanket and a quilt to keep him comfy. Hubby wanted me to stay the night. I thought about it, but the bed is a twin. Besides they would throw me out if I was there past 10pm

Tomorrow I will contact Lowes to see if my flooring came in. If so, will pick it up on Tuesday. I haven’t heard from them, but will see. I think I may add one more box of the waterproof flooring just in case there are mistakes along the way. I found a couple of linen cabinets for the bathroom, but will need the expertise of the carpenter to make sure it is a good fit. I have a question on the doors when they are opened. Guess I will make some soup as I am still cold.

Hope you had a great Easter and you had time to chat with your mom and kids. It’s still cloudy here so cannot comment on the sunset. Have a great walk with Poppy.
