Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sheba, Seems like sad news for those on the sub vessel. Sad that a young child was involved as well.
On another note, I can’t believe it but my ring shipped. That was much faster than expected. And on today’s hike today I saw an unusual site and stopped a runner in her tracks and then realized what I did, apologized and then she saw what I saw which was two Donkeys on a hill top. That was a 1st. Someone was with them and after a while they left. Hikes are fun.
Hope your evening was cooler and thanks for the drink! It looks great.

@Sheba🌺🌺🌺🦋🦋🦋
Hello Sheba, it was a very rainy day. That storm in Colorado must of been a big one.
We had some appointments in the early part of the afternoon. Came out into a Florida type thunderstorm. And then it continued throughout the whole afternoon. It would roll on in, the Sun would appear and then it would storm again ☺️Stopped at the grocery store on our way home and picked up some of the Summer fruits. I was glad they still had cherries 🍒 on sale. The mangos were large and beautiful, got some.
If you had come by around 6MP, I would have had help in cooking dinner. Hubby had a snack after he got off work and wasn’t hungry in his usual time. So we we eat around 8PM hubby enjoyed the meal.
Take care Sheba 🌹 🌹🌹🌹

Good afternoon my friend. Just saw on the news the info about the sub.😥 I was hoping for a miracle.🙏
It is cooler and cloudy today, around 70. We seem to be going back and forth right now, one day the A/C is on, the next I’m wearing a light jacket in the morning. Keeping fingers crossed🤞 my husband and friends can get some golf in tomorrow.
Spent a good part of the day at mom’s catching up. I haven’t been there in about two weeks because of all her lunches, appointments, etc.😅 93 is not stopping her thanks to my sister doing most everything for her. All is well.
You and Poppy try to stay cool, sending hugs and kisses.🤗🥰💖

Cooperation
Cooperation flows more easily when we let go of the necessity to be right all the time.
Cooperation — working together toward a common goal for the benefit of all involved — seems simple. But amazingly it can be quite challenging, even when we have so many successful examples all around us. Society is based upon the concept of cooperation, but finding a balance that ensures the good of all members is difficult. In nature, symbiotic relationships form between unlikely allies — a bee and a flower, a bird and a rhinoceros, small fish and sharks — yet nature also shows us instances of constant competition in which only the strongest survive. Given the choice, it seems most people would choose the more peaceful path of cooperation. Intellectually, we know that together we can create something greater than what we can do alone, but cooperation still seems to be one of the greatest challenges people face. We don’t always agree on how goals can be reached. Our priorities or our methods may be different, but in the end, cooperation offers the best chance for success.
So how can we learn to cooperate with each other? We can gain greater perspective by trying to understand one another’s point of view, perhaps even putting ourselves in their place. We can search for commonalities as well as differences and look for the good in different approaches. There is always more than one way of doing things, and some approaches are better suited for certain situations than others. All this is easier when we let go of the necessity to be right and to call others wrong. More importantly, we must believe that there is a solution that benefits all involved, not just one side. AMEN! ✨✨
