Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

“Endless Love”My love
There’s only you in my life
The only thing that’s brightMy first love
You’re every breath that I take
You’re every step I makeAnd I
(I-I-I-I-I)
I want to share
All my love with you
No one else will do…And your eyes
Your eyes, your eyes
They tell me how much you care
Ooh yes, you will always be
My endless loveTwo hearts
Two hearts that beat as one
Our lives have just begunForever
(Ohhhhhh)
I’ll hold you close in my arms
I can’t resist your charmsAnd love
Oh, love
I’ll be a fool
For you
I’m sure
You know I don’t mind
Oh, you know I don’t mind‘Cause you
You mean the world to me
Oh
I know
I know
I’ve found in you
My endless loveOooh-woow
Boom, boom
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boomOooh, and love
Oh, love
I’ll be that fool
For you
I’m sure
You know I don’t mind
Oh you know
I don’t mindAnd, yes
You’ll be the only one
‘Cause no one can deny
This love I have inside
And I’ll give it all to you
My love
My love, my love
My endless love -
We’ve Only Just Begun
Song by CarpentersWe’ve only just begun to live
White lace and promises
A kiss for luck and we’re on our way
(We’ve only begun)
Before the risin’ sun, we fly
So many roads to choose
We’ll start out walkin’ and learn to run
(And yes, we’ve just begun)
Sharing horizons that are new to us
Watching the signs along the way
Talkin’ it over, just the two of us
Workin’ together day to day
Together
And when the evening comes, we smile
So much of life ahead
We’ll find a place where there’s room to grow
(And yes, we’ve just begun)
Sharing horizons that are new to us
Watching the signs along the way
Talkin’ it over, just the two of us
Workin’ together day to day
Together
Together
And when the evening comes, we smile
So much of life ahead
We’ll find a place where there’s room to grow
And yes, we’ve just begun -
Your Song
Song by Elton JohnIt’s a little bit funny
This feeling inside
I’m not one of those who can easily hide
I don’t have much money, but boy if I did
I’d buy a big house where we both could live
If I was a sculptor, ha
But then again, no
Or a man who makes potions in a traveling show
I know it’s not much, but it’s the best I can do
My gift is my song, and this one’s for you
And you can tell everybody
This is your song
It may be quite simple, but now that it’s done
I hope you don’t mind
I hope you don’t mind
That I put down in the words
How wonderful life is while you’re in the world
I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well a few of the verses, well they’ve got me quite cross
But the sun’s been quite kind
While I wrote this song
It’s for people like you that keep it turned on
So excuse me forgetting
But these things I do
You see I’ve forgotten, if they’re green or they’re blue
Anyway the thing is, what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I’ve ever seen
And you can tell everybody
This is the song
It may be quite simple, but now that it’s done
I hope you don’t mind
I hope you don’t mind
That I put down in the words
How wonderful life is while you’re in the world
I hope you don’t mind
I hope you don’t mind
That I put down in the words
How wonderful life is while you’re in the world -
Thank you for the beautiful passages. ✨✨

I’ve been with HSN for over 22 years I am well aware of that. Happy shopping. ✨
I do check my emails often and I do take advantage of sales and coupons.😎
-
Hi, Oodiebom & @sheba2011:
Do you ever get HSN coupons in your email? I do. I just used a $10 one good on anything $10 & above, and I used the 20% off anything $75 & above. I have a few more left in my account. They put them in my account under –>
‘Your Coupons’. I wasn’t even aware of that section until I started clicking around on Sunday! I hope you find some in your account.😊☺🤗

I forgot to mention that I also purchased the Manuka honey from HSN. It’s OK and does work on sore throats. This is also very close to the one at Costco. What I need to stress is that the higher the number, the more potent it is. And, yes, more expensive. In some ways, I think it is helping with the Eustachian tube problem. I have checked on the surgical procedure which is done in the office. The tube they insert to unblock the tube does not stay in very long. When it falls out, the procedure has to be done all over again. That’s something I do not relish.
Well, since I wrote a few hours ago, the wind has picked up and my sinuses are awful. I need to finish the laundry. Have a load in the dryer and the next one waiting.

It is not a warm day in the ‘burgh, our low was -4 last night. A little warmer today but some snow showers tonight and cold tomorrow.❄ Like Loaf said our schools had delays today because of the temps.🥶
Spent the whole day on the computer looking for some new area rugs, Having a hard time because I need two different sizes but they have to match. Can’t find anything I like that comes in both sizes and there are a zillion on the websites – I guess this is my new project.🙄
Can’t get my eye to stop watering and now it’s red on my skin from rubbing it, always something. Going to wrap myself in a blanket and watch the hockey game.🏒 Sending ice kisses back to Oz.👄💖

Sheba2011, I really like this excerpt from Everyday with Jesus by Dr. David Jeremiah. I thought I would pass it on to you. I hope you enjoy it.
The last couple of years have been difficult, and this year are full of unpredictable events. Who knows what will next befall us? People everywhere are on edge.
But I don’t feel uncertain or on edge, and neither should you.
I’m certain that Jesus is in charge. I’m certain His word will sustain us. His spirit will revive us. His angels will watch over us, and His plans will unfold as He has decreed them. The Lord’s promises are as certain as His character, and His presence is as sure as sunshine. I’m persuaded that nothing can separate us from the love of God found in Jesus Christ our Lord – not for a day, not for a moment. Surely goodness and mercy will follow us not just every day, but every minute.
None of us are immune from stress and tension, but when we know how to walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, we’re in the best possible place. The prophet Isaiah said “The Lord . . . He awakens me morning by morning. He awakens my ear to hear (Isaiah 50:4). In this way we are “renewed day by day” (2Corinthians 4:16).
Let’s live every day with Jesus, for Jesus, and like Jesus.

Good Afternoon Sheba, I am glad you have Sun today. Sunshine makes things cheerful.
Looks like Florida is going to get very cold, a cold front coming down and some areas will be freezing. It happens every winter, the good thing is it doesn’t last long, a few days and we are back up with the temperatures.
Tomorrow we are going into Orlando for an appointment, it’s about a one and a half hour drive to the place I need to go. I am hoping to make a stop at Seabra foods on our way back, I already have my list.
Among the items I want to get is more Aruda plants. I have many plants inside the house, they clean the air and provide oxygen.
I got an orchid last year it flowered for a very long time. And now the buds are coming out, there are tiny buds on it.
The Aruda died on me. It’s the one plant I have wanted for so many, many years. I have looked on YouTube how to care for it and it’s very freckle. I think I over watered it, I will try again.
Stay warm and be safe Sheba, take care. -
Yesterday’s lost and found actually worked for the best. I actually accomplished some things in the house. Just need to clear one countertop for cleaning and then on to the next thing. Today is laundry. Mainly towels for the cabinet that has been completed. Van has new service date which is Monday. Guess I will be up at the crack of dawn again. Shopping is put off until then. You can say that I turned the lemons into something sweet.
Today’s temps are supposed to be in the 70s. Tomorrow will be in the 60s. Rain/showers expected tomorrow and Saturday and then we will be lucky to see 50 Sunday and Monday. We will have freezing weather Saturday through at least Monday in the evening hours.
Hibiscus is one of my favorite flowers. Mine are in bloom and will drop the buds and flowers over the weekend. Weekend we will try to work outdoors for an hour or so pulling weeds and trimming the bushes. This is the time of year to trim. Plants are almost dormant.
Unlike xango, I am enjoying this cool off period. I enjoy layering and being outside. Guess being in the North for so long and then relocating South has not phased out the winter doldrums. I was hoping to see some flakes over the weekend. But being on the Gulf Coast makes that almost impossible. Guess the only white we will see will be frost. To me, that’s better than nothing. Hubby likes the warmth. Summer temps and humidity does not phase him. Guess it has something to do with when you were born. Who knows.
Now that I have taken a brief break, it’s time to gather the laundry and get it done before the weekend. Have a great day, stay safe.

Taking a Leap of Faith
When you make a leap of faith you can accomplish almost anything you set out to do.
Many people, in heeding the guidance of their souls, find themselves contemplating goals that seem outrageous or unattainable. In the mind’s eye, these individuals stand at the edge of a precipice and look out over the abyss at the fruit of their ambition. Some resist the urge to jump, paralyzed by the gap between their current circumstances and the life of their dreams. Others make a leap of faith into the unknown, unsure of what they will encounter but certain that they will gain more in their attempts than they would bowing to self-protective instincts. This leap can be exceedingly difficult for individuals with control issues because the act of embracing uncertainty requires them to trust that surrender will net them the rewards they seek. Yet when you make a leap of faith, believing without a doubt that you will land safely on the other side, you can accomplish almost anything you set out to do.
There have no doubt been times in your life when you chose to go where the universal flow took you. Yet you may encounter instances in which your objectives require you to step outside of the boundaries of your established comfort zone so that you may freely and actively jettison yourself into a new phase of your life. While you may fear what seems to be the inevitable fall, consider that in all likelihood you will find yourself flying. A successful leap of faith requires your attention, as it is the quiet and often indistinct voice of your inner self that will point you toward your ultimate destination. Understand that the leap across the chasm of ambiguity may challenge you in unforeseen ways but you will make it across if you trust yourself.
If your mind and heart resist, you can dampen this resistance by building a bridge of knowledge. The more you know about the leap you are poised to take, the smaller the gap between “here” and “there” will appear to be. Your courageous leap of faith can lead you into uncharted territory, enabling you to build a new, more adventurous life. Though you may anticipate that fear will be your guide on your journey across the abyss, you will likely discover that exhilaration is your constant companion. AMEN! ✨✨
