Good Evening Sheba, it’s a cold day all over this country. I hope you and Poppy are nice and warm. We had Sunshine and a wind that went right through your body. I covered the plants I could outside and rushed back in the house.
I made potatoe and Leek soup. Then I made tomatoes and onions with garlic to go with toasted bread. I roasted sausage Brazilian style in the oven. As I was cutting it from its packaging, in the back of it had the name and phone number in Orlando of the company that makes the sausages. I Googled it, its a family owned company, in the business for fifty years. Their sausages are very delicious, I like eating with Farofa. It’s a toasted Cassava flour mixture. It’s like stuffing, many homes have their own way of preparing it and the different items they put in it. Sauté onions, butter, or Olive oil. Diced carrots, and or raisins. Corn, pieces of meat. It’s whatever Your taste prefers. I just like toasting it with Olive oil and salt. I like eating with Black beans and Rice.
With meats, and chicken, also with sunny side up eggs. Give me some chicken cooked on top of the stove with all the seasonings, eating with Farofa.
I also have to have fruit with my meals, Strawberries, Mango, Papaya. Grapes. I love Orange and Pineapple but, heartburn awaits me if I go that route, so I avoid those two.
Southern Brazil serve a whole grilled Pineapple coated with sugar and cinnamon. Its in every barbeque and its delicious.
The Passion fruit is awesome, had one yesterday. And if I could I would of eaten all of them in one sitting. But I only got six, so its one a day.
We have the heat on right now, its 38 degrees outside and the hard freeze has been extended to 9AM tomorrow its getting down to 31.

Oodie, saying prayers🙏 and keeping fingers🤞 crossed that your homes up north are safe from the storm. I know it’s cold in Florida but at least you have power and heat and can get out to the stores.🤗
