Good Afternoon Sheba, I hope you are warm and safe. You must be careful when shoving snow.
Family in Minnesota last night said they were 2 below. While here today we are 82 degrees and sunny skies.
I can smell your chicken noodle soup, its delicious. I made muffins last night for me and for husband. I took a recipe from YouTube for apple muffins and substituted grated carrots. For hubby I used oat flour and Sunflower flour, along with his sugar substitute . For me I used all purpose flour and granulated sugar. They turned out very good, next time on mine I am adding a little more sugar.

Stayed home all day with the freezing rain warning.🌧 It is around 4:30 and still raining so I guess in a couple hours all will be ice. Turning to snow overnight and into tomorrow.❄ We are under a winter storm warning, no one is really predicting how much snow. Very cold tomorrow. Mom and sis are scheduled tomorrow for their covid test required by the cruise line, not sure if they’ll get there. Just have to wait and see.😕

I finally got my rugs.😊 I’m pretty sure the small one was delivered to the wrong address and whoever that was dropped it off in front of a pile of snow by my mailbox which I couldn’t see. That was on Tuesday and yesterday my neighbor across the street called to say someone put something on my front landing. I didn’t hear the phone and when I called him back, no one answered. No separate tracking number for the second one and no email confirmation on delivery. It was tightly wrapped in heavy plastic but there was one little spot on the back that was wet, like something was dripping on it.😏 Strangest delivery ever – one for 48 Hours!🙄

Keeping fingers crossed we have power.🤞 Stay warm and cozy by the fire.🔥 Happy your family is getting through this virus.👍💕

Starting New

We can choose to start over in this very moment, there is no need to wait for a new year or a new month or a new week.

There are times in our lives that lend themselves to starting something new. The beginning of a new year, finishing school, leaving a job, or changing homes — these all are times that turn our minds to fresh starts. Their advantage is that they bring with them the energy of that event, creating a tide of change around them that we can ride to our next shoreline. But we can choose to start anew anytime. In any moment we can decide that a bad day or a relationship that’s gotten off on the wrong foot can be started again. It is a mental shift that allows us to clean the slate and approach anything with fresh eyes, and we can make that choice at any time.

Starting new is most powerful when we focus our attention to what we are choosing to create. Giving all of our attention to the unwanted aspects of our lives allows what we resist to persist. We need to remember to leave enough room in the process of new beginnings to be kind to ourselves, because it takes time to become accustomed to anything new, no matter how much we like it. There is no need to get down on ourselves if we don’t reach our new goals instantly. Instead, we acknowledge the forward motion and choose to reset and start again, knowing that with each choice we learn, grow, and move forward.

Making the choice to start anew has its own energy — it’s a promise made to you. The forward momentum creates a sort of vacuum behind it, pulling toward you all you need to help you continue moving in your chosen direction. Once the journey has begun, it may take unexpected turns, but it never really ends. Like cycles in nature, there are periods of obvious growth and periods of dormancy that signal a time of waiting for the right moment to burst forth. Each time we choose to start anew we dedicate ourselves to becoming the best we are able to be. Amen! ✨✨

Good afternoon in the ‘burgh and all I can say is brrr….OZ is frozen at 12 degrees.
Naturally Poppy went to his spot in the backyard far away from the house. 😜

I have all my power on today guess what tomorrow will be -1. 😜✨

I am near the fire and it feels good. My family in Colorado with Covid are doing alright.
I am glad they had a great skiing trip at least that went well.

How is your SIL and BIL? I am sure your sister and mother are getting excited for their
trip. I am going to miss both of them. 💕

I am doing some laundry to keep the pipes warm it does help and I need to do laundry

Good afternoon in Florida and I hope your temps are much better. 😎✨ I am making
a fresh batch of chicken noodle soup we are now 12 degrees in OZ.

Soup is good anytime of year. Hubby is at work I had to shovel the snow as my husband
would not be able to get into the driveway. The whole City was one big mess all the
schools public and private were closed a lot of churches did not have services.

I feel better today I am on light duty LOL! So far the pipes are fine it’s the cold wind
that can freeze pipes in these parts.

I know you are having some yummy and all you have to do is go to your freezer. 💕✨
I do that when I make a lot of soup or stew I do like to freeze and use when we have the
desire. So far we have power YAY! 😎
