Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sheba, i have been on a salad kick lately. Today I attempted to make hard boiled eggs a new way and um just no, didn’t work. The video persona said it makes perfect eggs every time. I am sure it was user error. Those poor egg never cooked enough so I reworked it and put them in the fridge. I have no idea how they came out. You ladies certainly have impressive cooking skills.
Hope all had lots of fun in the arcade tonight.
Loved the message to Oodie about flying out on your broomstick to help her. -

“Imagine”Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today… Aha-ah…Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace… You…You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as oneImagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world… You…You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one -
Peace Out Peeps! Have a safe and warm evening. ✨✨

I wish I could get on my broomstick and fly to Florida. I can whip that house up in no
time and find all your husbands things and give you a chance to rest. I hope you feel
better soon. ✨ -
Good afternoon in Oz. The storm is finally out of here, no trees down (yet), my power stayed on although there are areas with power outages. Not too much snow compared to the last storm. Hubby did the driveway twice, first to get the snow off and then to get the ice off. Mom and sis were able to make it for their covid test for the cruise, thankfully both negative.😊 Cold this weekend🥶 and in the 30’s next week.
I will watch the Olympic ceremonies this evening, I’m sure it will be entertaining.✨ Thanks for the beautiful deer pics.🦌 I was just thinking about them yesterday since we had an inch of rain on top of the old snow. I told my husband not only are they hungry, they are also wet and cold. I know they adapt in various ways but when it’s single digits outside, I worry about all wildlife, crazy me.😵

I am OK. Had a bad sinus attack that had me coughing my head off. Plus the headache. And, yes, I have been taking my sinus meds everyday. This is not how I want to lose the weight.
Hubby has not searched for his loss items. The driver’s license can be re-issued on line. Takes a week to 10 days. The others will take at least 30 days and probably will not arrive until after surgery. He could have looked for the items each day, but chose to stay in bed. Sorry, I am venting. Just makes me mad. As sick as I was, I did finish a few things. I am now going to make lunch. See you in Trivia. Hubby has surgery in two weeks and the house is in very rough shape.

@Sheba
Good Afternoon Sheba, I hope you are keeping warm. It’s the phrase of the winter months. Again we are in the eighties,☀️ it’s about 20 degrees above average. Coming down to its regular seasonal temperatures this weekend which is in the sixties.
I will be watching to opening games also and I won’t be able to keep an eye on the questions on tonight’s Trivia. I hope the questions are placed on the Rewards store page.
I want to bake some savory snacks🥨🌮 for tonight’s Olympics opening games. Not sure what yet, and maybe something sweet too🍰.That jumping deer has lots of energy, I need some of that.😁
I am waiting for the Taya Amazon White Clay Thickening Creme and for the Andrew Lessman’s Vitamin D3. Its always turned over the the USPS, even though the UPS truck comes into our community multiple times a day.I don’t think I mentioned but, back in December I stocked up on lots of Perlier. Then when to Beekman 1802 boys were on, I stocked up on their goat milk products.
Hopefully this Pandemic mess will not last forever and my niece and family can make a trip here from Brazil and I will have lots to send back with her. I try to grab items when it’s on special or reduced price, and if it’s a free shipping even better.See you tonight on Trivia I will be popping in and out.
Stay warm, stay safe Sheba. -

Sometimes a Loss Can Be a Gain
While it is always important to honor what we’ve lost, sometimes a loss can also represent a chance for a new beginning.
When we lose something that we cherish, the sense of emptiness we are left behind with can be overwhelming. A space that was filled, whether in our lives or our hearts, is now a void, and the feelings of pain, loss, and separation can sometimes be difficult to bear. While it is always important to honor what we’ve lost, sometimes a loss can also represent a chance for a new beginning. When we are ready, the void left by a relationship, a job, or a dream can then be viewed as open space that can be filled with something new: new experiences, new knowledge, new job opportunities, new dreams, new people, and new ways to grow.
There are many ways to weave the threads of loss into a blessing. If you’ve lost a job or ended a relationship, your first thoughts may revolve around filling the void with a similar job or the same kind of relationship. Try not to rush into anything just to fill up the emptiness. The loss of a job can free you up to explore new opportunities, especially if you’ve outgrown the old one. Likewise, the loss of a relationship can give you a chance to rediscover your own interests, explore new passions, and meet different people.
If seeking the good in what seems like a bad situation makes you feel uncomfortable, then try to remember that you are not devaluing what you’ve lost or replacing it coldheartedly. You are surrendering to the fact that in life we sometimes have to let go and allow for what is new to enter the open spaces created by our losses. In doing so, you are honoring what has left you and welcoming the new into your life with open space, an open mind, and an open heart.
Amen! ✨✨🌹
