Hi and good evening to you. Just returned from picking up our Asian dinner. It’s a take out place, but the food is out of this world. The spices and sauces are something I rave about all the time. If you weren’t that hungry to begin with, the aroma from their package mesmerizes you and before you know it, you cannot wait to open that door, get the plates and chopsticks out and then breathe in and sample a bit of everything before putting it on your plate. Luckily there is one that is both a take out and a beautiful restaurant in Rhode Island. There are two chefs at this one and they both hail from China and Hong Kong.

Last night I thought Hubby was watching a movie. I was quite surprised that his eyes were glued to the Olympics. Our eyes were glued to the end at 5 am. I watched while doing a jigsaw puzzle on Kindle. At least this way I won’t lose a piece or misplace one or two. Actually, in this game they do go missing. You have to press scatter to see if he comes into view. Often times you have to do this three or four times. And, yes, the pieces do rotate.

Because of last night’s games and the wonderful ice skating dances, we didn’t venture anywhere until later. I’m not sure if tomorrow will be a day for shopping. Seems we will have rain starting tonight and lasting until Wednesday morning. Temps for tomorrow will not be able to get out of the 50s. May be a better day to stay home and getting more work done instead of trying to dodge those raindrops. Going out this afternoon was beautiful. Cool with temps in the 60s and a bit windy. Temp as I type is 54.

I think I found the right combo for the sinuses. I’ve added Benedryl along with the Chlortrimeton. It not only stops the coughing, but has also started to clear the Eustachian tube. As of today, I had to knock the sound down on the telephone. Couldn’t believe how loud it was. That also included the TV. I am hoping this will continue to help so surgery can be a last ditch effort.

Yes, I do enjoy seashells. This has been a hobby of mine from the time I could walk, so my parents said. When my parents vacationed on the Cape, I thought nothing like getting up at the crack of dawn and walking up and down the beach collecting all sorts of shells. The best time, of course was either during a storm or right when it was over. That’s when the sand glistened with all sorts of wonderful objects. And, yes, Sanibel Island is one place I definitely need to visit. I heard stories of the beaches and need to see it for myself. Besides, there is one shell that has alluded me all these years. The sand dollar. You see pictures of this and then there are c jewelry pieces depicting it. I am hoping we can have a mini vacation there before heading in the opposite direction. Only time will tell.

By the way, this is my second note. The first one ended up in limbo somewhere. I hope all is well with you, hubby and Poppy. Have a wonderful evening and many beautiful tomorrows.

Sun and near 40 today, hate to say this but it actually felt warm! Colder tomorrow and some snow flurries. Back and forth all week but at least spring is not that far away.

I’m on another mission. I’ve always had vases and flowers💐 on my dining room table and am getting tired of that. I think I want a tray and some flameless candles. Those candles have really come a long way from years ago with the flickering flame. I will go out looking tomorrow.👀

Oh, how I want one of those baby lambs, they are just so cute!!!💗🐑💗

Brave Spirits

As spiritual beings having human experiences, we are on an important mission to learn and grow here on earth.

Most of us are familiar with the idea that we are not human beings having spiritual experiences; instead, we are spiritual beings having human experiences. We hear this and even though we may experience a resounding yes in our bodies, we may not take the time to really acknowledge the truth of these statements. Integrating this idea into how we view ourselves can broaden our sense of who we are and help us appreciate ourselves as brave spirits on an important mission to learn and grow here on earth.

As spiritual beings, we are visitors in this physical realm. The fact that we came here and lost all memory of what happened to us before we were born is one of the many reasons that it takes so much courage for a soul to incarnate on earth. This is why spiritual inquiry so often feels like a remembering — because it is. Remembering that we are spiritual beings is part of the work that we are here on earth to do. When we operate from a place of remembering, we tap into the wisdom that our spirit accumulated even before we stepped into this lifetime. Remembering who we are can give us the patience to persevere when we become overwhelmed or frustrated. It can give us the courage to work through the most daunting challenges and help us trust the ancient wisdom we carry that is offered to us by our intuition.

We have chosen to be on earth because there is something we want to learn that can only happen by inhabiting a body. Some of us are here to repay a debt, learn about love, or teach forgiveness. Most of us are here for a combination of reasons, we carry this information in our souls, all we have to do is remember. As you go through your journey, try not to forget how brave you are, being here now. Honor yourself. ✨✨
