That was certainly great news on your BIL. I will continue to offer prayers. I hope this means that there are great days ahead. Best news ever.

I have had the Olympics on TV and hate to say this, but have fallen asleep and awaken when it was over. Geez……and I thought I wasn’t tired. Go figure.

Anyway, now that you have heard some good news, it’s time to celebrate. The long, hard road is finally over and now life begins all over again.

Oh, we were in the 60s today. But, it really felt like the 30s in the North. Temps tonight will be low to mid 40s. The heat is on.

Let’s see. First I couldn’t find the driver’s license or the insurance card. Now the third thing on the list is a change of the surgery date. Hubby went to the orthopedist appointment on December 22nd. At that time surgery was recommended because of the pain and the fact that the injection did not work. I also discovered that hubby has a heart problem. In all the years we have gone to various physicians nothing of this sort was ever mentioned. So, we needed a cardiologist report. Since this date was close to Christmas I contacted our physician for help in securing a cardiologist. Found out the office was closed until the following week. At that time I made a phone call and said they would get right on it. No phone call from anyone so made another attempt. As luck would have it, I had a doctor’s appointment and at that time again mentioned that I needed an appointment for a cardiologist. He said he would give the info to the staff. Well, no one called and of course I kept at it. Well, yesterday I received a call and the earliest appointment is three days prior to surgery. This means that surgery will need to be postponed. So this afternoon I contacted the orthopedist’s office and left a message. Now, hubby, came up with a great idea. Let’s head North and find someone there. He forgets that our physician retired and now I will need to start from scratch. He also forgets that he can not drive until the knee is repaired. He also thinks he can sit in the car for the length of time to drive the 1300 miles especially when we will need to stop every half hour so he can exercise that knee to keep it from freezing. YIKES!!!!! He thinks he’s strong like Bull……Men!!!!! Will they ever learn??????

Good afternoon – couldn’t quite make it up😴 to see Shaun last night, it wasn’t on until after midnight here but I looked online today. Big night tonight for Chen, I am so hoping he has a perfect program and wins gold.🥇

It was like a summer day in the ‘burgh, made it to 50. Did a few errands in the morning since tomorrow will be rain/snow showers and upper 30’s.🌧 Back and forth week, one day nice, one day not.

Update on BIL – he is doing good and off of dialysis.😊 One day at a time and SIL said they actually had a “normal” day after about three months. Enjoy the games tonight, hope the skating is on before it turns Thursday in the ‘burgh.🤣😴 Hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Good Afternoon Sheba, today we have Sunshine. We are in the sixties and will be in the forties tonight. I hope your day is sunny and somewhat warm.
I am feeling lazy today, and didn’t get much sleep and of course that’s always not a good idea.
Good thing is no need to cook today, leftovers will do.
I received a lovely bouquet of flowers from my hubby for an early Valentine’s. This week also marks 37 years since we met and are together.

Meaning

How we attach meaning to events in our lives has a large influence on the quality of our life.

The meaning we assign to our experiences — whether pleasant or distressing, is a very powerful factor in determining the quality of our lives. If you were recently laid off and are having difficulty finding a new job, consider that you might have hidden gifts or passions that were untapped in your regular career that you are now available to explore. The universe might simply be moving you in a more fulfilling direction. If you have recently lost a loved one, gained weight, lost money, or gotten in a fight with your partner, see if you can infuse the experience with meaning that feels loving and empowering and opens a door for you to embrace life and the world a bit more.

When we begin to bring consciousness to what we are making things mean, we may be shocked at the messages we have been feeding ourselves all these years. Try taking the reins and begin assigning a kinder meaning to the events in your life and you will likely find yourself on a much more pleasant ride. AMEN! ✨✨

That is a lot of channel surfing. Shaun made the finals I hope he can win a medal
this is his last game as at the tender age of 35 he is retiring. 🌹✨
