Good afternoon. Just returned home following the necessary procedures prior to surgery at the hospital. We were there for over 4 hours. To say I’m pooped is an understatement and yet there is more blood work needed next week. I surmise it’s because the lab closes at 3 pm. And to top it off, the surgery may be postponed because they need a write off from a cardiologist. My hands are tied right now since our physician’s office closes at noon on Fridays. I am about ready to pull my hair out. The one good thing that came out of this is that he found the staff bending over backwards and made him feel like a King. To say I am happy with our physician right now….

No, we didn’t go to the market. We will try tomorrow. Both of us are exhausted. At least I had a book to read.

The Today’s Special are beautiful plants. A few years ago I got the Butterfly Bush, I don’t remember if it was from HSN or QVC. And they bloom every year, with such sweet smelling flowers.

Guess what, I didn’t remove Wolfgang Puck’s 13 piece pot set from my favorite. Yesterday after I unpacked and already had placed boxes in the garage I logged in played games on Arcade. Responded to your post. In the middle of the night around 3AM, I looked and saw an alert on my favorites. It was the set of pots I just received, its price reduced to $129.95 and shipping $9.50
When I paid a reduced price of $146.98 and a shipping of $18.22. So today I called customer service and they are refunding me the difference.
I hope you warm up some how, get your temperature up. Our temperature for the weekend and coming week is going to continue to be in the low eighties.
Monday is Presidents Day, husband has off, and he took the rest of the week as vacation. I have a doctor’s appointment next week he is talking me to. And he has lots of vacation time still available.
Being Friday we are having fried Catfish for dinner. I haven’t called and ordered yet, I am hoping they have it if not then chicken.

Surrendering the Ego

While we are in a dark night of the soul experience, hold steady knowing the light will appear once again.

Whenever a word is overused, it is most likely being misused, and over time, it begins to lose its meaningfulness. For example, we often refer to a fleeting feeling of depression or a period of confusion, as a dark night of the soul, but neither of these things qualifies as such. A dark night of the soul is a very specific experience that some people encounter on their spiritual journeys. There are people who never encounter a dark night of the soul, but others must endure this as part of the process of breaking through to the dawn of higher consciousness.

The dark night of the soul invites us to fully recognize the confines of our egos’ identity. We may feel as if we are trapped in a prison that affords us no access to light or the outside. We are coming from a place of higher knowing, and we may have spent a lot of time and energy reaching toward the light of higher consciousness. This is why the dark night has such a quality of despair: We are suddenly shut off from what we thought we had realized and the emotional pain is very real. We may even begin to feel that it was all an illusion and that we are lost forever in this darkness. The more we struggle, the darker things get, until finally we surrender to our not knowing what to do, how to think, where to turn. It is from this place of losing our sense of ourselves as in control that the ego begins to crack or soften and the possibility of light entering becomes real.

Some of us will have to endure this process only once in our lives, while others may have to go through it many times. The great revelation of the dark night is the releasing of our old, false identity. We finally give up believing in this false self and thus become capable of owning and embracing the light. AMEN! ✨✨

Good day in the ‘burgh are you alright? I did a good cleaning of my master bath and I threw
out a lot last week. I hope things are clearing up. ✨

Yeah OZ is ❄ Cold it’s called winter. You are so funny I have thought about putting Poppy
on the toilet. 😜My yard is large in the back and he has a corner far away from the house
and hubby clean that up. 🌹Lady when the snow is so high he can get lost in the snow. I am
always prepared to run and get my baby. ✨💕😎

I am so glad you got your Wolfgang Puck Set. 😘💕I have the Bistro Set also and it looks
as good today as the day my husband brought them for me. Xango they hold up really well.
Hubby made hooks in the kitchen and some of them hang from the hooks I just reach up
and grab I like 5’8 so I have no problem reaching for them and they clean really easy. 💕

Hey I will see you in Trivia later if you are up to it I am still trying to get back on my schedule
with my body I have been watching the Games late. 😜 I am busy multi-tasking and soon I
will have some tea and chicken noodle soup.
